I think they're referring to the sum of all parts in regards to the arc. The writing, the pacing, the tone of narrative, the animation, art-syle and direction. For some people, it feels all thought everything that is being used to put this arc together feels so inconsistent and widely varied that it is not onlu hurting the quality of the the Tournament Of Power, but of the grand narrative the Universal Survival arc as a whole.
Another thing that irks me is that most fights in the tournament don't go until the end or are interrupted, I would prefer something much more straight.

Why would it be anymore interesting this time around?
Well, little by little Goku is recovering his power in this match and he will fight them both, I expect him to overwhelm Kale with his new form.

No way this is too soon for something like this. This would be worse than Caulifla so easily going SSJ2.
I share the same feeling, but I'm won't be surprised if Super pulled that out of nowhere.

Maybe the animation teams over at Toei enjoy writing for them in the episodes, but there's still so many characters they could be laying the foundation to build upon instead of trudging them back up again. Hopefully the next time they're seen will be their last for the arc. Goku is already going to be front and centre, again.. It's gotten to a point where I feel like Toei shouldn't be faulting anyone except themselves and perhaps Toriyama for over-inflating the promotional imagery and placement of the other characters. Giving constant oversaturated Goku based content is not going to make everyone become endeared to him. It's just repetitive. Sure, he's the protagonist but he doesn't need to be in 80-90% of the fights; even Baba's tournament afforded more leeway for others than the ToP seems to.

I'm mostly interested in the aftermath of the Jiren fight and Hit's involvement. If his time for elimination is coming then Team Universe 6 will have lost their best man. With the U6 Saiyans in the crossfire next, it could spell doom for all of them. Funny enough, that would leave the Namekians to hold back the tide of defeat for U6 all by themselves.
I agree with all of this, they focus on u6 & 7 way too much to the point when i see the other universe that isn't 6 or 7 i feel nothing,it just boogles me that the big 3 members of the pride troopers dont have a focused episode where they are the protagonist and have 1 elemination as of rigth now

I don’t think you’re suppose to care and the antagonists usually don’t get solo epsoides in Dragon Ball.

I think it means it's all over the place which is kind of the case when you look at it up to this point. It seems like things are being dragged on just to have a long arc, something I hope the manga avoides like it did with the last arc.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Jiren defeated Maji=Kayo. That's the only one that comes to mind.

They are a group of superheroes so they are not that evil and they appear in a lot of promo yet they are unimpressive as of rigth now, some more screentime and character is needed for the big 3

Naruto's manga episodes are fine, it's the filler that messed the flow if you were watching from week to week. Now that it's over you can easily skip them with no issues.

You can be good and be an antagonist. And lot of U7 characters got promos and little scene time. Like 17 haven’t been in an episode since 103 and Freeza disappeared for seven episodes. And let’s not talk about Tien.

True,i just want toppo to do something,he is the leader of the pride trooper and he is introduced in the exhibition along with being one of goku rivals, some awesome moments with him is something i expected well i have to be patient with this

Just my opinion but I skipped all of Naruto's filler and still couldn't get through Shippuden. I liked the series at first but as it went on I stopped caring. But that's just me. Obviously Naruto is a very popular series and who am I too argue with that.

As for this arc I've been thinking

* I think it will seem better when marathoned. I definitely see why it will be frustrating when you are waiting for your favorite characters to show up or actually do something of significance. At least when you marathon you don't have to wait and can get to characters you appreciate much quicker.

* With so many characters left I wonder if the ending of this arc really will be the last one standing. Maybe something will happen and the tournament will end prematurely. That has definitely happened before. I am not speculating how it will end early. I have no idea.

* I do think maybe a few more minor characters will be knocked out in the next few episodes. I won't predict who. Mainly because I hate when people say this and this character will be knocked out. No one wants their favorites knocked out. Just mentioning names gives me anxiety lol.

* There is a lot of focus on U6 and just maybe they will continue to be important characters after this tournament. At least that is what I believe. A few other TOP characters may also remain in the storyline. But I expect most we won't see much of again.

Also, from the spoilers, getting the feeling that Goku's new form is not gonna get a lot of screentime or action either (as in like, appearing at the very end of it all then disappearing, then credits, then NEP)... :problem: (hope I'm dead wrong).

Looks like the Goku v. Jiren is given a UFC / WWE / Mayweather treatment by FUNimation on Saturday.

They're taking this mad seriously lol. On some forums, there's like Boxing advertisement pictures of Goku VS Jiren. Stuff like "Heavyweight Universe Surival Bout". Feels like the lead up to like FOTC or Rumble in the Jungle right now.

Yeah but they don’t have a lot of fears under their belt to get intimidated about... Frieda had killed plenty of people both on and off screen and committed genicide. The androids had killed multiple super saiyans and totally decimated the future and even after 3 years of training still managed to break SSJ Vegetas arm. Then Buu had wiped out a good portion of the universe so much so that even the Supreme Kai was madly afraid of him, not to mention Buu already took out a bunch of kaioshin. It’s kinda hard to get the same, “man they are in deep sh*t vibe” and most of what we know about Jiren being an antagonist comes from marketing material and episode summaries...

The naruto anime is 42% filler, have fun skipping all of that.

Is this snark or an actual figure. I am honestly curious.
