Picks on fighters weaker then himself, lets Gohan get beaten up, beats Jimeze to within an inche of his life befor ringing him out, completly trolls his U6 counterpart and if that was not spiteful enough he's going to take out Vegeta's little fanboy likely right in the middle of some master/studant speech.
Well it will pay Vegeta back for his insults during RoF.
Also, he stole Vegeta's elimination of Murichim.

When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

Hopefully Jiren showcases some personality during this fight. It's the only thing that concerns me about the special. I want the guy to be more than just an obstacle.
The new profile on the Toei page does give me some hope he'll eventually turn up interesting, what with the "he takes pride in his strength" tidbit, but I guess we'll see.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

Is that him? why the hell does he look more of a villain than Black was, the art is amazing on so many levels, who the hell did that?
The day has come! TODAY IS THE DAY! Finally. I can't wait for this 1 hour especial. It will be awesome, I hope. Even though I'm still not invested in the new form (I think it will end up being just a technique like Kaioken) I cannot wait to watch the two new episodes and all the animation during the fight between Jiren and Goku!

If they wouldn't have invented that stupid barrier for Goku and Vegeta for them to fight Trio The Dangers, this new form/technique would've been way more impressive for me. The silver eyes are the only thing that makes it interesting. I'm not hating, just saying I'm not that hyped with the new form since Toei released these screencaps.
Anyone here thinks they might update the opening?
Specifically the part, where he comes out of his red aura with that smile of his face and fights Jiren again?
TheSaiyanGod wrote:Goku SSB just releasing his Ki also broke the Time-Skip. No wonder Jiren can do the same. I just do not understand if Hit will evolve his technique in the fight against Jiren or if it will already be improved when the killer uses
It was never said Goku broke Hit's Time Skip releasing his ki. You're thinking of his Pocket Dimensions from Episode 72.

An opinion I used to see from time to time in the fandom was that the proto-SSJ form we see in movie 4 looked better then gold-haired one. It had a raw intensity to it. This sorta reminds me of that. So maybe that's why the design seems so appealing to many.

I disagree, it's the pinnacle of awesomeness! And of originality aswell! It has a multi-colored aura, that's quite fleshy, yet seems to surround his body, like Beerus' does aswell. And it's the first "transformation" that keeps Goku's black hair in base. It even has silver eyes that seem completely different from the rest of his body. This is quite original, and highly creative. Yes, Simple, but with style!
Cool? Yeah. Original, no. And SSJ4 had black hair too.
SSJ4 is non-canon. So that argument is already invalid. And you're wrong, it IS an original design.
Super is also non-canon. So your argument is also invalid
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

How is that invalid?? You said it was the first transformation to have the black hair. That's flat out wrong. Whether it's "canon" or not, (not like DBS is definitively canon either) is not the point because it has nothing to do with the point.
Also, how? Base form hair with silver eyes isn't very original.

It has the original author behind it, so it's canon, especially since Toriyama himself made the form, so that's like questioning if Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan are 'canon'.
I do agree that Goku having a black haired form isn't new, we got one before Super Saiyan 4 with False Super Saiyan.
