"Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
So, lemme get this straight: "Limit Breaker" is what is called Goku's new form and "Ultra Instinct" is the technique that Whis told not even Beerus mastered yet: moving without thinking. Is that right?

I highly doubt they cut it themselves, Toei probably sent a copy of the video with that scene missing by mistake.Bonus Stage wrote:Crunchyroll cut off almost 1 minute of the episode!

What makes this shot more interesting for me is that they're close to Cauli and Kale, who are currently recuperating. It'd be nice if the reason was that they were protecting them. It just hints that they might have connections to one another instead of just meeting right before the ToP.namekiansaiyan wrote:They appeared once more as practically stick men after this shot. Well, guess that finally marks their semi-first on screen appearance barring their darkened silhouettes and pictures on the Zen-oh's tablet.

Limit Breaker is Kaioken x20 iirc.Noah wrote:So, lemme get this straight: "Limit Breaker" is what is called Goku's new form and "Ultra Instinct" is the technique that Whis told not even Beerus mastered yet: moving without thinking. Is that right?

Going over the sub it seems that Goku's new form is indeed a limit break of sourts.Noah wrote:So, lemme get this straight: "Limit Breaker" is what is called Goku's new form and "Ultra Instinct" is the technique that Whis told not even Beerus mastered yet: moving without thinking. Is that right?
As Whis described it the combinastion of the Genki Dama's implostion/explostion, Goku's attapts to resist it plus the fact he was also absorbing the energy combined to push Goku beyond his limits. As a side effect of this "Limit Break" Goku was finally able to overcome whatever mental/physical/spiritual limitastion was stopping him from mastering "Ultra Instinct".
So his new power and the Ultran Instinct are the result of the Limit Break but they are to seperat outcomes of the form. Goku is not super powerful because of the Ultra Instinct alone. Or at least thats what how I can interprit it at the moment.

It all comes back to Toribot eventually!Lord Beerus wrote: I'm not sure how I would feel about that. On one hand, it would be fantastic to see someone put Zeno in his place. But on the other hand, how many more echelons of deities does this franchise really need?
Chinese mythology has a rather huge celestial bureaycracy so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's going on here. And since Toriyama is a fan of western sci-fi it wouldn't be terribly surprising if it turned out Zeno is like Trelane.

I doubt they were helping Caulifla and Kale. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Hit survives next episode and they play a role in that happening. That is of course if Hit needs any help.Michsi wrote:What makes this shot more interesting for me is that they're close to Cauli and Kale, who are currently recuperating. Wasn't a mistake, the same happened with OP last week, it seemed splitting the episode in 2 caused that scene to be cut (extra ED and NEP), which means it is likely to be like this on the BD.UpFromTheSkies wrote:I highly doubt they cut it themselves, Toei probably sent a copy of the video with that scene missing by mistake.Bonus Stage wrote:Crunchyroll cut off almost 1 minute of the episode!

There is no limit breaker, Goku's new state has simply for now being referred to as Ultra Instinct/MigattenogokuiNoah wrote:So, lemme get this straight: "Limit Breaker" is what is called Goku's new form and "Ultra Instinct" is the technique that Whis told not even Beerus mastered yet: moving without thinking. Meh, was just a thought. I know a lot of us assume they might be the opposite of U7 namakians the same way the U6 saiyans are to their U7 counterparts, but honestly, I don't want them to be full-on villainous like Frost.

Actually when you think about it, if they are evil then they are not really the opposite of Universe 7 since they are Piccolo and Lord Slug. Also it is the smiles they are constantly drawn with that is making some people to think they could actually be evil.Michsi wrote:

I want their backstory to be connected to Zarama and maybe we find out that they are the people the Sadal force is constantly trying to get or something like that.

The news of the "New Warriors joining the fray"...., thing is that the outline seems to be of a female character.
Episode 114 will spoil us of that unknown warrior.

If it is a her and the fighter can take out Cabba as well. The fighter will earn points for knocking them out. I definitely think the fighter is someone in the tournament.RedHeat wrote:inb4 you hate her as wellnamekiansaiyan wrote:As long as that warrior knocks out Caulifla and Kale then all will be good in the tournament.perucho1990 wrote:The news of the "New Warriors joining the fray"...., thing is that the outline seems to be of a female character.

I think Kale would be perfect foil for the unknown warrior, because she is Blue tier.

I guess this months Vjump will probably have Toriyama's design of UI Goku? Seems the most logical thing they could do.
