Some neat character art on the covers.

Shoko Nakagawa, um, really loves cats, huh? No wonder she's working for a "cat" in Battle of Gods
Yes, Goku visited me once. He turned to me while I was still speechless, and said, "You've drank too much"...

The one in the drawing is her, the saiyu, right?

That's... very manly. :|

What's that on Shoko's hand? A wand?

*Had expected a goldfish with big eyes, sees a blue, beady-eyed, pink-lipped fish with a head-tentacle*. Oh Dragon Ball. XD
Between that design and that character-voice she's using for the fish, I agree that Nakagawa has successfully guest-starred without the audience seeing her instead of the fish.

It's also neat seeing Matsumoto's character's design here too, along with up-close photos of the scripts.
I wonder why the scripts were numbered; they wouldn't split it into three parts unless it was really long; maybe those are just numbered because of the different cover art, yet still have the same content? I dunno.

Do you think Matsumoto will play a larger role? o_O Her character doesn't look too... erh... "filler".

It's possible Matsumoto might have a larger role; if I remember correctly, wasn't Ain from OPZ voiced by a regular movie actress who guest-starred? She had a good amount of lines.

I guess it all depends on how much of the movie takes place on Earth and how much on Birusu's home turf.

Obviously it's zoomed out, but Oracle Fish looks like a Slime from Dragon Quest in fish form.

So we've seen character designs for Nakagawa and the other guest star's characters? Did I miss them somehow here?

Wait, never mind, I see them at the bottom of the news update now.

And apparently this movie takes place roughly around the same time as the Jump special, at least within the same year, both being set 2 years after the defeat of Boo? Well, that makes figuring out where things lie pretty rough, gah. Maybe even after this movie, I still won't know what to do with my fic idea and trying to make it fit.

I think Matsumoto's just voicing for a quick cut of animation. Nakagawa at least has the training and experience to act in a larger role.

Videl and Kuririn's could jump back and forth easily enough since their hair didn't change in length all that much, but Yamcha....yeah, for Yamcha in-universe hair answer I've got nothing aside from a far-fetched-sounding 'he's got such lustrous hair growth that he has to get it cut every week to keep that wild mane at bay". XD
One day, Yamcha discovered he was starting to lose his hair, so he decided to make a wish on the Dragon Balls to give him the hair he had when he was younger! Hey, he joked about making a wish for a piece of jewelry, so why not wish for hair? :D

The video with Shoko-tan was really sweet. Like, you could feel how excited and overwhelmed she was at getting to be a part of something she loves, as well as getting to meet Masako Nozawa. I laughed when she fell to the floor after Nozawa used her Gokuu voice to say "Wanna get some grub with me?" Obviously, she was ULTIMATE moved!

...you know, using "super excited" is getting played out at this point. We should replace it with ULTIMATE. That being said, I am ULTIMATE looking forward to this movie ^_^

I'd be in tears too if I got to work, or even be, in the presence of Masako Nozawa.

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

I knew something big was coming! Looks as though a preview for anew trailer was broadcast on that morning show that previewed the previous theatrical trailer. I'll just sit here and wait then... :D

Man, the podcast has such bad timing these days.

It is, but it also works, in a morbidly humorous way. Anytime we get a new podcast, we can rest assured new content is about to come out right after.

Do you not like that show? I hear people say they despise it from time to time. I never seen it, I can only assume it's subpar.

In all honesty, I haven't checked it out yet, nor the manga. So for all I know it could be really good. The thing is though, I'm pretty flabbergasted by the fact that it's apparently pretty popular, according to some sources, but I've never yet run across a big fan of it. It's just weird, like, if it was so big, you'd think I'd have run into someone by now, you know? That and I'm slightly resentful of how they've used One Piece to attempt to bolster it's popularity, giving it a manga and anime crossover both, whereas poor Cross Epoch never got animated.

So I'm just bitter really, haha.
