Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Yeah... there wasn't any of this confusion in the Portuguese version. It was something like "points of reference" and it was just "prince", meaning she was just a random Saiyan mother.

How can he teleport to the scouter? He should only be able to teleport to ki signals, not just to any location he wants (even if it is Vegetto).
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

Lock onto any ki in the era of the scouter, teleport and then use superspeed to grab it so that it seems as if only an instant has passed.TrunksTrevelyan0064 wrote:How can he teleport to the scouter? Don't even try to understand... They have proven time and time again that they ignore established fact in the Dragon World to tell a good story.

Doesn't Vegetto knows Instant Movement? Kaioshin taught him the technique so he could move freely onto the Senzu planet.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
There's a Senzu Planet? Kaiobit taught Vegetto how to do Kai-Kai instead of Shunkanido? No offence but where are you getting this information from?Senzu_Bean wrote:Doesn't Vegetto knows Instant Movement? Kaioshin taught him the technique so he could move freely onto the Senzu planet.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Its from the french fanfic that serves as the base story for Universe #16. Personally, unless Salagir incorporates those elements into the comic, I don`t consider them. I do this because Salagir may want to change them at any time and also because the fanfics are previous to the DBM project, I believe.DNA wrote:There's a Senzu Planet? As for his teleportating, perhaps there was someone at that location at the time or maybe its not a teleportation at all, perhaps its just him going after the scouter at a very high speed and returning at the same speed (like superman always does). Or maybe he did use kaikai if we consider the fanfic. All these scenarios are possible.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
In the introduction of the fic Salagir says it is DBM canon. Furthermore, he apparently revises every chapter of it and writes a few scenes. The same goes for the novelization.
I still believe (or hope) that this special chapter will touch that point eventually. There is plenty pages to got yet and it is obviously not too tied to chronology anyway. Or maybe in a future special (there will be more then one for U16), this chapter focused in the 'inheritresses' of Vegetto and they wouldn't be born yet, after all.
Anyway, I doubt Salagir is so bad story teller to miss this important bit of information. This is not only about the inconsistence with teleport, but it is also needed to explain why U16 have so many Senzu while U18 doesn't have any. This already appeared in comic so it cant be ignored.
PS:
One more thing, the original writer vanished of the fic vanished, so Salagir is finishing it.

True, but the artist already referenced the meme in one of his mini-comics.Innagadadavida wrote:I'm going to bet that meme doesn't exist in France.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:I'm glad they resisted the urge to do an "over 9000" joke.

Bulma says it's in the cave. What cave would this be, exactly?

Even if you don't go by the fanfic Salagir said the reason how Bra was able to transport Gohan and Vegetto outside of the stadium was probably because Vegetto taught her the Instant Movement. If Vegetto taught her, he surely knows it.DNA wrote:There's a Senzu Planet? Kaiobit taught Vegetto how to do Kai-Kai instead of Shunkanido? No offence but where are you getting this information from?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Of course, she knows Shunkanido, the ability to instantaneously transmit oneself to another place via sensing someone else's presence. That doesn't explain how Vegetto knows Kai-Kai, the ability that Kibito had that allows one to instantaneously transmit oneself to another place with no restrictions.Senzu_Bean wrote:Even if you don't go by the fanfic Salagir said the reason how Bra was able to transport Gohan and Vegetto outside of the stadium was probably because Vegetto taught her the Instant Movement. Instant Movement is Kibito's technique. That is what Salagir said she used to transport Vegetto and Gohan to OUTSIDE of the stadium, where there isn't anybody there.DNA wrote:Of course, she knows Shunkanido, the ability to instantaneously transmit oneself to another place via sensing someone else's presence. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Vegetto doesn't need Instant Transmission to get around.... heck, he's run off to get a snack 17 times just during this conversation with Bulma, and she hasn't even noticed.

Ok.... and how do you propose she learned the technique?Senzu_Bean wrote:Instant Movement is Kibito's technique. That is what Salagir said she used to transport Vegetto and Gohan to OUTSIDE of the stadium, where there isn't anybody there.
