Indeed. I mean, come on... 2015 already and people still think GT is somehow canon? :eh:

That would be disappointing, I would prefer to see Gogeta now.

One thing some fans were hoping for is Goku&Vegeta loosing their god powers in order for Super to fit with Gt which was never going to happen but even if it did you have this now that goes even more against Gt.

I wanted him too but Vegetto is stronger and was created by Toriyama himself so it makes sense he'd want to use him instead.

As has been mentioned, it seems even more likely now that we'll be getting planet sized Dragon Balls, since they can clearly be seen from space.
Too bad this is only monthly. I want more NOW :P

We know from the manga's preview cover that there'll be a 9th ball so maybe each universe has one ? which will give us 12 in total and an excuse to visit each universe.

I can't say I like the fact here all that much, I really liked that for once, even after attaining a new form Goku was still just barely keeping up with Beerus. Plus him narrowly stopping his sphere was a lot cooler than him just Kamehamahing it away.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I hope they're not planet sized...that would be a little much. But I am getting more excited for this and less excited for the anime. I do think both are hurting each other tho :/

I agree, it would be exaggerated. I think the manga is helping the anime, there's the expectation that these things, will happen in the small screen. This maintains viewers. It's a shame the manga is so short, if it really is that successful, I hope they increase the numbers of pages.

I hope so too. I think they're hurting each other cause the manga's gotta stay ahead while I feel the anime has to slow the pacing to not get too far. I think the manga could work with larger page count or weekly release.

Eww, I really dont like the fact of Kibitoshin getting defused.
The only cool thing about their fusion is that they didn't know that would last forever. But now they just got back to normal, thanks once again to the Dragon Balls...
Being fused forever was one of the Potara fusion rules, and now they just found a way to return to normal.

Goku and Vegeta situation was acceptable because they were inside Buu and somethng went wrong. They were surprised that happened and I didn't mind at all.
But these two deliberately asked for getting back to normal. I really hate this. This series barely has any consequences thanks to the Dragon Balls, and now even these little things are getting fixed.

This is like Goku and Vegeta becoming Vegetto again to beat a villain, and then after winning go asking Porunga to defuse.

What's next?! Besides revive a old villain.... Restore Kaio planet to the way it was?! Bring back the entire saiyan race?!
I really hated this part.

Other than that, seems to be another awesome chapter.
Unlike the anime, I'm really addicted to this. Keep them rollin!
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

That is one of the main reasons why I wouldn't like the idea of bringing back Vegetto. If it is for Kakarot and Vegeta to perform the fusion again, then may be Gogeta. Another theory I always heard was: "Vegetto could appear, and when they defeat the enemy, Buu could absorb them to get defused and split them". Really hated that.

This is not possible. The rule of "one year" applies to a large numbers of dead. They would need to revive one by one.

It's a one year limitation, isn't it?

My problem with them using Vegetto is that he's so well balanced personality wise that he's not as entertaining as watching the flawed Gokû and Vegeta verbally bounce off each other.

I just saw the manga. It looks like Goku wont lose his god power at all during the fight.Nor will Goku even try to go Super Saiyan at all during the fight as some people were suggesting(then again it can be different in the anime version).

I would certainly prefer to see the anime version Gogeta than Vegetto at this point. We got some nice time with him but we barely see anything of Gogeta on the movie... besides, making Vegeta do the Fusion dance again would be priceless.
Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"

I doubt we will see Vegito again and I don't want too. Vegito only exist just to save Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Piccolo inside of Majin Buu.

Re: No Gogeta?

Maybe because he's considered a Toei character ala Cooler is and Toriyama is avoiding characters he didn't create?
