Does anyone really blame Toei for being stingy about it though?
Well, every other dubbing company in the world besides English speaking ones actually have the original BGM and next episode previews. Whats up with that? Is it just English speaking countrys cause they think they could get more money out of them?

FUNi dubbed the next episode previews too. They just don't have the Japanese audio for the next episode previews.

I've signed the petition and spread it through FaceBook's "I STILL LOVE DBZ" group.

So please do whatever you can to help get the word around, and help get DBZ back the way it was meant to be seen!

Still not perfect in terms of grammar (some errors here and there), but definitely a lot better than the last one. Consider it signed. :D

Sorry about this guys, THIS is the petition. http://www.petitiononline.com/DBREDO/petition.html

They're opting for perfection, and the previous one had spelling errors.

If you signed the last one, please sign this new one.

... @___@ Again??

Oh, and I'm wondering: is the word "series" in the first line of the second paragraph meant to be "serious", or just the way it is? .__.

Anyways... *wanders off to sign this new one*

I consider online petitions useless in the first place, but it certainly doesn't help that you keep having to re-create it. It just looks bad that you keep having to change it. Know your words and stick with 'em.

Or better yet, write them out in a program like Word and edit the thing to perfection there before posting it online... certainly saves a lot of face to have it right the first time it goes public.

Are we trying to match the number of petitions to the number of DBZ releases FUNi's going to give us or something?

Honestly, I'd approach a professor or teacher about this petition. I'm sure they'll give you suggestions on how to present this, maybe get your community involved somehow, and something can happen! Hey, here's for wishful thinking: I get credit for bringing that up! :P

But seriously, I'm one to be optimistic but its time to be a bit realistic too. This is a form of entertainment for (most of) us, but keep in mind this is part of a business. These people, FUNi and Toei, know what they are doing and they are going the route of whichever makes them more money.

I don't blame them either. Only thing I don't appreciate is the rehashing of the same series again and again. How many times is this going to happen? The words "remastered" and "uncut" are meaningless now. I mean seriously, sell me that damn cartoon from years ago for a reasonable price the way they release it in Japan and I'll be happy.. :x [rant]

I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

You think maybe we should petition the person making these to get his petition act together?

Well... I wouldn't hold you against it, but I'm pretty sure this one's the last of 'em

And yes, the Holocaust and all other mass murderings were my fault.

Back on topic everyone! Wiii!!

I'll be watching a couple more of my own cropped episodes (old ones, mostly from Buu Sagas) to have some more to say about the widescreen thing... If anything changes and it miraculously doesn't suck anymore.

I was watching the DVD in which Vegetto fights Majin Boo and...I was sitting there spotting moments in which widescreen would make spots look awkward and wrong.

Sigh...

Lord please let this petition work. I have already spread it across the IMDB forums. I plan to bump it every few days for the next 2 months.

I hope each of you sign it. Even if you don't mind the widescreen, it would help the rest of us out a lot. Thanks.

I really doubt they will, especially with the whole 18 signatures against it.
