I don't know for sure, but are these graphics really looking that old or is this just my imagination?
I mean, it's PS2 of course (I don't have any PS3 or something, so I am used to the graphics on PS2).
But it looks like B3, only a bit cleaned up at best... BT2 or 3 looked way better... okay, that was Spike, but it shows imho that it is possible to have pretty nice graphics while having a huge character amount (I am not talking about the scripting quality, just the graphics).
So why didn't they use some of that quality in IW now? Oo
Given the fact that they probably couldn't just "steal" the graphics from BT and make a Budokai with these, I still hoped for some... "nicer" graphics actually...
And if this game really makes its way to Wii, we'll have another game that doesn't even get in touch with the Wii's standards... :/

Update!
I tried my local gamestore again today to check for the game and the clerk there told me the game's release date had been pushed back to the 25th.
Can anyone else confirm this?

The mini-games look interesting.
I'm really liking that one with the bricks (makes me think of that Olympic sport where you shoot at flying ceramic plates), and I laughed at the catch Bubbles game.
Goku's globe gameboard is really cute.
And I find I can no longer listen to Nappa in English without expecting him to break out one of the Abridged lines.
Seriously I almost feel like I'm waiting for a "Hey Vegeta". XD

Did anyone else like the opening movie cause I thought it was awesome!
Seriously, it was nice to see some SSJ2 action for once! Even though Gohan and Vegeta couldn't take Broly together as SSJ2 it was still cool.
Honestly though was anyone not expecting Broly to be way overpowered?
Well those are my thoughts on the intro.

I picked up my copy today! I'll write some thoughts on it later when I've played it. Two things though, one, Japanese voices ARE in, unless the manual is lying to me. The second one is the English voice cast credits, which should tell us all of the characters in the game. No Japanese credits in the manual, but whatever.

I like that it says on the back of the box that it features music by Hironobu Kageyama! That is very cool to on the English packaging.

Yes, there is a Japanese sound option.

Hm...Sounds like the Dub Actors phoned it in on this one. (Though I can't blame em.)
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Well... the models for this opening movie are an obvious improvement to the "Sparking! (Tenkaichi)" series. Since I am a sad slave to Dragonball video games, I will probably pick this one up soon
. Especially since it is low cost. From what we have seen what do you all think? Worth a buy or just a rent for Budokai 3.5?

Well, I just finished story mode (Well, you unlock new story missions after beating Yi Xing Long, but whatever), so I feel like I can share some of my thoughts now. I apologize if it's worded strangely, I don't feel like taking too much time on this, as I just want to give people a general idea on the game.
Infinite World is a lot more then I expected it to be. I expected Budokai 3 with a new story mode and some new characters, but it's a lot more then that. Infinite World is basically Budokai 4 if they got lazy on the graphics and stages.
First of all, the characters have all had their attacks completely redone. This is kind of hard to explain. Basically, if you compare a punch, kick, punch combo in Budokai 3 to a punch, kick, punch combo in Infinite World, they'd look different. New combos have been added as well. This detail will probably be overlooks by most people. Special attacks have changed as well. The only way to activate special attacks is by either pressing Left and Circle or Right and Circle. This might sound bad, but another change makes it awesome. You can now pull of special attacks in the middle of a combo.
The capsule system has also been revamped. Instead of being free to chose any seven capsules you want, you are restricted to two Special attacks, an Ultimate attack, one item, and three equipment capsules. Also gone are the tons of transformation capsules. They are instead combined into a single "Transform!" capsule for each character.
At first I thought the mini-games were bad, but after getting used to the controls (the controls in the mini-games are different from the fighting) I found them to be pretty fun. They aren't something I'd see myself going back to play over and over again, but they were pretty fun while they lasted.
Overall, I think Infinite World is worth $30. A lot more effort went into the game then some people seem to think. IMO, this IS the definitive DBZ gaming experience. (...Wow, I sounded like a jackass saying that. >_>)
Also, there's a second Kageyama song that plays during the story mode credits! It's called "Dragon Ball Party". You'll just have to play the game for yourself to hear it. (Or wait for somebody to inevitably upload it to youtube)
EDIT: Oh, and if anyone has any questions about the game, I'll answer them if I can.
I'm aslo going to add onto this tomorrow, have a few more things to talk about.
