Trunks: Xeno has Super Saiyan 2.



It seems like ever since Babidi stamped a lot of M symbols on people's foreheads a few missions back, we've been getting a lot of in-game characters that don't see representation on cards. I've tried to pay attention to most of the missions in-game and spot details like this, but it's not always easy since some characters don't change hair and the "sparks" on the higher levels aren't very clear (especially if the video is low quality). It makes me wonder if we've been missing Super Saiyan 2 versions of other characters...?

If Ultimate Mission 3 comes out, I'd love for someone to decrypt the game's files and browse the models to see if we've missed anything. But that won't happen...

Also, if Trunks Xeno has it... other iterations of Trunks must have it or will have it soon. The jump from 1 to 3 makes no sense.

Didn't they given Super Saiyan 2 to Goku GT and Vegeta GT after they gave them Super Saiyan 3? I see no reason as to why they wouldn't go back and give it to those guys as well. For Broli, Legendary Super Saiyan is arguably his Super Saiyan 2... But I don't want to debate that point now or here.

The main culprits are these guys:
Son Gohan Future Super Saiyan 2
Trunks Future Super Saiyan 2
Trunks Adolescent Super Saiyan 2
Trunks GT Super Saiyan 2
Gotenks Super Saiyan 2

Going back on the convo a bit, I must admit you guys are right on the Ozaru stance, at the end it doesn't even matter and like you said, every Saiyan with a tail can access the transformation. I don't care enough if they get it or not, it just kinda seemed exaggerated to have that many giant monkeys around, but at the end, who cares really? Especially since most of them already were shown with that transformation either in the series or the games. It's really no different than the current Super Saiyan 2 situation. Or even Super Saiyan to the likes of Pan or Tullece.

Anywho, yes you mentioned Bardock Xeno Super Saiyan 2 a few pages back, I added a spot for him. Also added a spot for Trunks Xeno now and the cards for Towa, Dabra and Tarble.

Finally a new Super Saiyan 2! Jesus Christ, why this transformation does not get any more love!? Trunks looks so much better now!

Oh, and GT Kakarot has Super Saiyan 2 for only one card so far, that's sad.

I'm wondering why they didn't give Future Trunks SSJ2 early on in the game's life considering Dimps did it in nearly all their other games. :/

No. I don't know about all games (Dokkan Battle probably has Oolong or Puar?), but Advanced Adventure definitely had a handful: Oolong (though I think he's a rocket?), Shu (albeit in a robot), Bear Thief, Boar Bandit (Gun), Boar Bandit (Sword), RRA Dog Soldier.

No if you count Giran's playable appearance in "Advanced Adventure". Oolong is also playable, but only transformed into a bat and rocket.

Giran isn't an Animal-type Earthling. Being a kaiju, he'd likely be classified as a Monster-type. Though I don't think he's ever noted as anything but a kaiju.

We do know adult Gotenks has the form, but until this moment I never found someone using him (well, there is just one card for Super Saiyan 2 adult Gotenks... No wonder it would be difficult to find). Do you happen to know if someone use him in a video?

I don't know of one because I honestly don't really care by this point. My general interest in Heroes has faded, and the only stuff I care about is what's newly introduced each set (characters, forms, DBO story)...and even that has waned since they basically spoil everything before release these days. The only reason I'm curious about the other characters potentially having Super Saiyan 2 is for the sole purpose of knowing whether they were given the form in a game mission or not since they obviously don't have a card for the form.

We already know Gotenks has SS2 because we have a card that tells us that. That's not interesting anymore and so I have no intention of looking for it (especially when it's likely to just be SS with barely discernable sparks). So you're on your own.

Here's a video of a special requirement being met in the hidden Towa & Super Mira mission for the Earth's Army side of the GDM4 Ankokumakai Arc. It causes Dabra: Xeno to appear and join the battle with some special cutscenes.

I must say, I'm enjoying the more cinematic missions they've been having recently. Though it also means I have to pay closer attention to more stuff. :/

Haveing Dabura back is cool. I was a little put of by that red and black undershirt because clashes with his normal clothes but I've gotten used to it.

Fingers crossed for Xeno Dabura is they ever do Xenoverse 2. I would be nice for Mira and Towa to have their own minions rather then just taking control over old villains all the time.

Also did Towa just die!? Oh boy her brother and husband are gonna be out for blood now!

I don't think she's dead. Just injured because she's not much of an actual fighter.

The anniversary website is still promoting the NEW HERO video alongside all the other stuff they are revealing for the anniversary next month. Seeing how the video hasn't been replaced with an image of SS3 Gohan or Tarble, or a follow up video revealing them, I'm going to say they have someone else planned.

Guys this is not exactly off topic. But one question:

Did Akira Toriyama design the Super Saiyan 3 form for Vegeta?

I know this is a dumb question, I just need proof that he didn't design it.

If Toriyama had designed Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, that fact would have been a giant splash alongside its debut back in 2009 for Dragon Battlers -- remember that his inclusion in Raging Blast came AFTER Dragon Battlers.

I don't see Toriyama's name anywhere on that page, and we certainly didn't mention anything about Toriyama when we originally posted the news.
