7 is just an OK score which is kinda shitty considering how long they had to develop this game, but I digress, if people do enjoy this game then good for them.

I just don't see this getting a sequel since people have already played the demo that gives the gameplay away. If Namco Bandai had done this to Ultimate Blast it'd have sold even less.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Even though I have complained about the lack of vs CPU I still find the gameplay itself quite a lot of fun.

Can't access the review at the moment. What were the pros and cons stated in it?

Yeah, pretty much sums the show up right there.

The gameplay and upgrading system are the pros and the cons are that the controls can be over fiddly and the battles have very little context.

WTF. YOU'RE GOING TO TELL ME THAT BIRUS AND WHIS ACTUALLY DON'T RUN?

I was getting my hopes up! WHAT. THE. HELL.
If characters can both run and fly in this game, why make both of them "float" when on ground as well? That sucks.

Eurogamer Italy apparently gave the game a 6/10.

It says right in the title of the video that it's Zenkai Battle Royale (Japanese-only, arcade-only, multiplayer fighting game).

Do the non-Japanese versions feature the Kikuchi score?

Nope, they feature reused tracks from the Blast games.

Rather average reviews really. Not that surprised. Lol the Google Translated Eurogamer review had some funny sentences. "Limiting itself instead to the language of Albion on the Sony handheld console." "Even stones know every single frame." I didn't know stones watched DBZ.

Again? Oh god damn it. :? This was precisely what I was hoping to "save" Battle of Z from being a total failure.

Namco Bandai's doing an awful job to satisfy their western fans.

So what was the deal with the DLC for the Vita? Is it not coming for that platform?

It is available for all three platforms through the Day One Edition.

So the digital version of BoZ for Vita on the PSN store is the Day 1 edition?

Europe: Buy the first run to get Sage Goku, purchase at special retailers to get Super Vegetto, and Super Saiyan Bardock.
Japan: Buy the first run to get Sage Goku, purchase Super Vegetto and Super Saiyan Bardock as DLC on the PlayStation Store.
North America: Vita owners are apparently not worthy of Super Vegetto, Super Saiyan Bardock, and Sage Goku.

So, with Story Mode being confirmed as the only single-player mode, will it be possible later to play off-line fights through a hack or some other way? Is something like that possible?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
