They were shafted because they're useless. Its time to accept that. It's completely unrelated to Kalefla, but hey, anything to hate on them, right?Rhuagh wrote:Goten and Trunks got shafted for this. Between all reasons not to enjoy Caulifla and Kale, this is the biggest for me.

Its going to be fun watching the haters have mental breakdowns the next few weeks. Anything that gets under y'all's skin in a good thing in my book.

Hopefully Toshio can make it decent enough, though I'm extremely skeptical if even he can save an episode that looks like its set-up to be another episode 100.Totamo wrote:Joking aside, We should wait, maybe this will be good. toshio is the writer of the episode.

I can relate, its been ages since we had the androids whoop ass, I miss me some 17 and 18 action, we also have the namekians vs Gohan and Piccolo, Vegeta V Toppo and Freeza out there, but meh we just had to have 3 eps of more saiyan centered fights with probably the other players fighting as a background from time to time, I swear to God if Goku doesnt throw those asses out on ep 115 it'll be the last straw that breaks the camel's back.namekiansaiyan wrote: I just can't believe they are focusing 3 episodes on this when we have much more exciting things going on.

Wait? Pfft, come on; it's not like DBS is known for a lot of it's more controversial-sounding ideas becoming some of it's most praiseworthy aspects. Remember how much Black sucked?Totamo wrote:Joking aside, We should wait

This is true, in fact the only time an episode was as dumb as a leak said was FEMALE BROLY!Kanassa wrote:Wait? I do. I was definitely on the side that thought Buu getting sidelined for Freeza was a really, phenomenally awful idea. Holy butts, was I wrong.SansrivaaL wrote:Remember how much bringing Freeza back for this arc would suck?Kanassa wrote:Wait? Look at the (potential) bright side. Chances are that this is Cauli and Kale's final gig in this arc, and it was always evident that they were going to go out with a bang.SansrivaaL wrote:I can relate, its been ages since we had the androids whoop ass, I miss me some 17 and 18 action, we also have the namekians vs Gohan and Piccolo, Vegeta V Toppo and Freeza out there, but meh we just had to have 3 eps of more saiyan centered fights with probably the other players fighting as a background from time to time, I swear to God if Goku doesnt throw those asses out on ep 115 it'll be the last straw that breaks the camel's back.namekiansaiyan wrote: I just can't believe they are focusing 3 episodes on this when we have much more exciting things going on.
Assuming the namekians don't end up getting eliminated on the side in the next few episodes, it could mean they outlasted everyone from U6.
Happy thoughts, people!
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
It is Dragon Ball tradition that fusions are generally useless and not worth the effort. Gogeta in Fusion Reborn is the only time a fused character has ever won a fight they were needed for. So, there's a good chance Kalefla could be the end for Caulifla and Kale. And unless Saoneru and Pirina somehow scrape by for three more episodes (which would be nice, but I have my doubts), it would spell doom for Universe 6.
I hope they at least get to fight someone other than Goku before they go. It'd be nice if they fused to fend off Freeza, or took a crack at Jiren himself. Given how strong Kale is, I could see either one being a decent fight.

Okay, on rethoughts, I'm okay with this, simply because it's one of the only ways for U6 to really go out with a proper fight. We know them, and they deserve a big opponent. And we probably weren't going to get Hit, given he was their big fight in the U6 tournament, and we don't really need a repeat of that. Kale and Cauli are the two strongest opponents, but Goku could probably deal with them. But together? Maybe not. The only question is if anyone else is going to step in.
Just as long as they don't put any more Movie 8 references.
The only problem with this is it means I'd have to take Kale seriously...

I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

They could always do what Avo and Cado did. Just yell "GATTAI" and boom, fused. I actually forgot those two didn't use the fusion dance.sintzu wrote:They're so good they can fuse without the dance.Ki Breaker wrote:It's more or less choose your poison..Michsi wrote:Question: seeing as how most don't want the U6 saiyans just going through transformations so easily, wouldn't you all rather have a fusion instead of Kale and Cauli clearing power levels like crazy?
How can they even hope to learn the dance perfectly in minutes is beyond me, turns out Goten and trunks are just not good enough, it took them so much training simply to get the posture right..
I would rather have them fuse via potara or them already knowing the dance ( which is also bullshit ) be a thing..

I want U6 to go, if only to see some sibling emotion from Beerus and Champa.

Now it makes sense why the figure was bald, but still feminine. Would have given it away.
Hope Goku smashes them of course

Goku soloing a Fusion will be hilarious if it happens.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I have a feeling Goku is doing this to recover enough energy to go Ultra Instinct again. Looking at the preview, fighting Caulifla helps him recover enough to go 3, so maybe he needs a stronger opponent to get the rest?
If they reach the same kind of agreement Vegeta and Cabba did, having another strong warrior around works to their mutual benefit.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Why do people think they have to learn how to do the dance for the first time in the arena, rather than Univese 6 having its own Metamorans Saiyans have interacted with?
Fusion may have been an unheard of technique in Universe 7 by the time Goku brought it to Earth, but that doesn't mean it's a secret art over in its twin.

It's in line with the 'U7 saiyans are coaching U6 saiyans ' angle they've been so keen on.Cipher wrote:Why do people think they have to learn how to do the dance for the first time in the arena, rather than Univese 6 having its own Metamorans Saiyans have interacted with?

I say the girls most likely know how to fuse already.
Goku is going to show SSJ3 and that's it. I don't see him teaching the girls the fusion. He would need Piccolo... And Piccolo is busy right now. The rest of U7's fighters don't know the technique.

A fusion with Kale & Caulifla could be really cool or dumb but I will withhold judgement until I actually see it. And I’ll be away that weekend so I may see it later than usual if I don’t have good wifi...noooooo
I do kind of wish it wasn’t just Goku fighting them though for 3 episodes.
