Now, about the game: storywise, how is Gohan transformed in a SSJ4 without tail or blutz waves? all the same, what about Broly?

Yeah, as answered, Black Smoke Shen Long transformed Broli, weirdly enough I think he went from Super Saiyan 4 to Golden Ozaru, instead of the other way around.

As for Gohan, Vegeta seemed kinda unphased, this might have been expected, so maybe Gohan had already gone through a process to be able to transform, and now that the form is unlocked, he can access it. My theory? The ol' blast someone with enough bruits waves until he transforms, tail be damned.

Nah, if you watch the trailer that debuts SSJ4 Broly, it shows Black Smoke calling forth LSSJ3 Broly, shrouding him in smoke and then we get a couple silhouettes of an Ozaru's face with the big glowing red eyes then the smoke clears and BOOM! SSJ4 Broly.

Oh yeah, well, good. I had forgotten how it went. I guess that's another way to transform into a Super Saiyan 4. Only Goku had to grind coffee in order to become one.

Even with the mild ribbing I'll admit I'm happy to see Gohan get the SSJ4 treatment. I think the in game video for it was pretty funny with Goku & Vegeta at a distance while he transformed. Goku's cough got a little chuckle outta me and I don't know why.

I'm hoping Goten. He didn't even get SSJ2 or SSJ3 so he deserves a new form

"Tranny" has been a hateful term for as long as I can remember, well before recent PC movements. People don't use it in polite or academic conversations, and they certainly don't use it as a compliment. We have Super 17 absorbed Cell, #16 and fused with #18. I think it's possible that we will see Super 17 fused or absorbed Super #13 one day. I'm surprise that there is no fan art of it yet.

And damn, SSJ4 Gohan?! We were blown away by the fan art years ago, before the end of GT and we expected to see Gohan like that in GT (before he was rendered weak and useless).
