Good stuff, Super.

I also have zero problem with Goku allowing this happen. Goku likes a challenge more than anything else, regards of the unfortunate implication that may happen as result of his behaviour. It's why he let Vegeta escape in the Saiyan arc, why he let Freeza power up to 100% during their fight on Namek, why he let the Androids be activated, why he gave Cell a senzu before he fought Gohan and why he turn down using he Potara to easily defeat Kid Boo. Goku may be pragmatic in a few scenarios, but he's a martial artist first and foremost. And he wants to get the most of his opponents so that he can find new ways of becoming stronger as well as enjoy the thrill of a great battle.

Oh, and I don't think Kale will get a new form. We already jumped the gun on Goku teaching Kale and Caulifla the fusion dance, so I'm not gonna hold me breath on Kale getting another Super Saiyan form. But it could happen. We'll just have to wait and see.
I kinda assumed that champa will teach them the same fusion dance Goten and Trunks use. Since they’re neighboring universes, I figured they’d probably have the same race available to them. Metamories? I have no idea what elder Kai called them. I doubt it, but it’s an observation

I think Toppo vs Vegeta along with Saonel and Pilina vs Piccolo and Gohan are fights that are going to be happening for a long time since they have not been mentioned at all in any previews for the episodes. I think we will keep getting little scenes for these 2 battles to keep us entertained and to remind us there are other things going on apart from Goku vs Kale and Caulifla.

I would say the best chance for eliminations is the Universe 6 Robots with Caulifa and Kale at the end of episode 115. The fusion seems like it is being used to get Goku back to full strength.

The problem with Kafla is that if the fusion holds and she is really strong as predicted then Jiren will most likely get up and sort her out. What I am saying is that if they defuse then Frieza will be after them and if they don't Jiren will be.
What I think its going to happen is that once Kalefla defuses and Freeza goes for the girls, I expect the U3 robots to return, combined like a Megazord, preventing Goku from helping the girls.

Soooo it’s possible Caulifa and Kale are actually the Goten and Trunks of their universe...

But with more development(At least they are more developed than Goten, sorry Lemmy).

Kid Trunks is debatable, he got a fair amount of development in the Black Arc.

I think Frieza knocking out Kale and Caulifla has a good chance of happening and it seems time for the Robots to have a proper battle along with Paparoni who has been seen with them. If all these characters went out over of the next 3 episodes that would be 6 eliminations which seems about right.

Biarra and Catopesra who tried to attack Jiren might go against Dyspo.

Freeza in this arc has been an apology letter to how his F saga was handled I don't want him going away, specially by these girls if unfused. If I still liked Caulifla like I did in her first few appearances then I wouldn't have minded.
I personally liked Freeza in Resurrection 'F', especially the retelling, so I didn't need an apology. And him getting his ass kicked by two females Saiyans that he tried to tortured would be delightful karma and prove once again that Freeza never really learns from his mistakes.
He wasn't bad in the F saga, I thought he was handled better than in the movie, but the problem was that his saga was executed badly in some other aspects, so I didn't like it. Seeing him target the saiyan girls just for him to be have his ass kicked by them sounds to me like a waste of a character considering his plans, which I'm more interested in considering his development, even if the odds of them happening are slim.

I hope Frieza gets a lot of success in, simply because the more he succeeds the better it'll be when he gets his vegeta-style ass kicking. Though I would laugh if after all this build up, Frieza gets taken out due to a small mistake, like the Omni-King erases him for swearing or something.

I also want Freeza to be the top dog this arc and become the MVP, it'll be more entertaining to have him stand at the top and how it'll all play out.

This. I don't see Freeza being eliminated by anyone BUT a Saiyan; the one species he hates the most. I can't wait.

Freeza has really been the best thing the TOP has offered so far. I still see ep. 95 as the best of the series. But I fear he'll eventually have to fail and then we'll see him lose his cool in the traditional DB manner.

I’m actually hoping we get some side stories with Goten/Trunks/Caulifla/Kale down the road.

That’d be an interesting dynamic!

I’m hoping for this as well. It’d be nice to see Frieza chaos to be a multi universal issue rather than just a U7. But the way he looked when they announced Ultra Instinct made me think that he also has another agenda. Seeing as how he’s unbelievably gifted, he might aim to reach this if he can’t win the tournament.

Am I the only one who thinks that there’s been such an emphasis on Jirens power that people forget that it’s whichever universe has the most people standing that wins?

Not my theory, but one I like really much.
Could Freeza's plan be to wish for all the universes back? He would gain the respect, and maybe protection too, of all the revived Gods and universes. He would become a multiversal hero, and this would be all part of a bigger plan.
I can see such a twist happening, as it would greatly increase Super's lifespan. And we could finally see Planet Sadala while Freeza is off plotting and training.

I wanted this at first, but then I became horrified at the prospect of this possibly leading into another Frieza arc.

He just straight up revealed that his wish was to control the gods last episode. Also, I doubt the Daishinkan would allow every universe that was erased to come back. That would defeat the purpose of the tournament.

Frieza has almost certaintly nit been put in this tournament to lose to one of those Universe 6 Saiyans.

I don't see them as having more development.

Ceetainly not more than Trunks, at any rate. Even if the kid is still something of a gimmick at this point (spoiled, bratty, arrogant prodigy), Caulifla and Kale are also somewhat one note. So far, anyway. One's full of confidence and the other has none.

Goten... ehhh. I can't really make much of a credible argument for Goten having development. I do see it here and there, like when Boo killed Chi-Chi and Hit killed Goku. But he's still quite the blank slate. So much can be done with him.

I absolutely loathe Caulifla, but I could live with having her around if it means more involvement from the boys.

I'm not seeing it either. Mind you, I can easily be wrong. But I would think that the audience expects more from Freeza than to lose to a pair of kids- or at least that they would like to see him win against saiyans for once- and that the girls may in fact be there for that purpose. He's not going to win against Goku and Vegeta, so narratively speaking Caulifla and Kale are his consolation prize.
