Next game should be....
I want DragonBall and GT to get their OWN fighter games, rather than their people, places, and plots just being "bonus" material in Z-centric games.
DragonBall would be on a relatively scale, but still impressive. I think gameplay either like the Budokai series or something similar to the recent Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm would suit it quite well. Have it skill-based, with lots of customization, a rich story mode, and juuuust large enough of a character roster so that we can recreate all the public matches of all three of the series' Budokais.
GT, on the other hand, would be on a much larger scale, and would probably work best with Sparking!-style gameplay. Even the most ideal character roster would be much smaller than that of the typical Sparking! game, leaving opportunities for bigger stages, a good story mode, and so forth.
Also, I'd like to see a large-scale DragonBall adventure game. Like Origins, except grander. Like Revenge of King Piccolo, but not a sidescroller. Something really large and impressive that invokes a sense of adventure.

That would shatter the awesome barrier. Seriously, if they could keep the quality up to Mario Kart standards, and dump a shitload of characters in, then I can see this game surpassing Sparking! in my book.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:I've said it a thousand times: I want a DragonBall racing game. It opens up as Goku and Vegeta are fighting, they stop and Goku comes to the conclusion that they now know each other so well and are both extremely strong that their fights can't prove anything anymore. Vegeta tells Goku it's not about just fighting, he could beat him in any challenge Goku presents to him. Goku offers to race Vegeta around the Dragon World. After the two go home to get ready for the race the next day, their wifes want in. Being Goku and Vegeta would destroy them with speed, Bulma explains that if everyone were to be in a vehicle it would all be even.
The next day at the starting line, Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Chi-Chi all show up with vehicles. They are about to take off when from behind a whole bunch of characters from the DragonBall universe are closing in fast! Bulma looks at Goku with a embarrassment and says "Uh, I might have told a few people about the race". It's the first time these characters have a chance to beat Goku or Vegeta at something!
The camera pans across the array of characters, shoots up towards the sky and the "DragonBall: Dragon World Rally" logo appears!

Sure, it ain't as big and fancy as you're saying, but I hope it at least helps for now.

Great game indeed, but I was pissed off by the number of battle arenasUltimate_DB_Fan wrote:I would want another game in the same style as Infinite World, but with more characters and cinematic ultimates for all the characters.
As far as I'm concerned, everyone should be playing Infinite World, as that's how a DBZ game should be.

Actually, there are a lot more stages than there appears to be. You have to take into consideration the destroyed version of stages.MCDaveG wrote:Great game indeed, but I was pissed off by the number of battle arenasUltimate_DB_Fan wrote:I would want another game in the same style as Infinite World, but with more characters and cinematic ultimates for all the characters.

Honestly I'm sick of all this back and forth between Dimps and Spike(even though I think Raging Blast will be great). I wish that after RB Namco-Bandai should make the game themselves or let THQ,or Team Ninja, or Square Enix, or cyberconnect22?, or hell they can even let Capcom have another go at it.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Yes, if you are selecting via random..... But there is lot of stages missing, like hell, Freeza's spaceship + stages thatwas created for game and didn't make sense in Dragon Ball like Red Ribbon hangar, Archipelago, Urban Area, Mt. Paozu and Tenkaichi Budokai stage (crossover between DB and Z). Heavily altered backgrounds I meanUltimate_DB_Fan wrote:Actually, there are a lot more stages than there appears to be. Yeah, it would've been great having those stages, but they never made it in...MCDaveG wrote:Yes, if you are selecting via random..... Also, it sucks how you have to choose random in order to get the destroyed stages, whereas in Budokai 3, all you had to do was press circle and ya got it.
Even still, IW is the only DB game I play. For a long time, I prefered and mainly played BT3, but at the end of the day, it just doesn't have the finesse of IW.

When I'm bored, I'm playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3.... After I finished Infinite World on 100%, there is nothing more to do and it's boring.
My fav fighting game will be always guilty gear series....
I opened hidden characters in GG XX, Justice and Kliff by accomplishing 50 missions from 100, but it's impossible to finish 100% of the game.... I can't manage to beat up all story paths and finsih all 100 missions.... It's hard as hell and I'll never get bored from this game, playing it for 3 years now

I think we should have another Dragon Ball (not Z) game that's non-fighting like Revenge of King Piccolo EXCEPT better than Revenge of King Piccolo, and also a Dragon Ball-only fighting game called "Ultimate Explosion" that would work just like ROKP's Tournament Mode except a whole lot more moves and characters.
And maybe Dragon Ball Origins 2: The Red Ribbon Army
Yeah, I think they've done enough with DBZ.

PSP? A fun adventure game like Revenge of King Piccolo would have felt so much better on a PSP. It was too shot for a console game but just right for a portable game. Also, I don't know about you, but when I get a new PSP or DS game I tend to take my time with them (usually in short bursts at home or when I'm out of the house) so the experience feels longer.Freeza Heika wrote:I don't really want it updated for the DS either, but I figured that I should at least be realistic. They already did that, it was called Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure. And Dragon Ball: Origins.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:PSP? Both those games sold worse than ass in the US.

The PSP, while technically a handheld system, is essentially just a PS1. If they did it right,it would be great, but whenever the use of 3 planes is a possibility in a game, the developers tend to throw in the z-plane just for the hell of it, and it ruins the game.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:PSP?
