But I think that American Cell was good......

I'm not quite strictly a fan of the Japanese version, as while I do prefer it in 90% of issues I'm still deeply in love with the Ocean cast. Which... rather automatically taught me to loathe the new FUNi cast the first time they magically appeared on my tv and seemed to be messing everything up. As for FUNi dub voices I actually liked...

17 and 18- they weren't overblown or annoying, they were very natural and cold... which made them much more threatening than if they were snarling overly-mechanical 'evil' voices like the horrid dub of 19.

Trunks- Despite myself, I still like this one. He was soft spoken and believable and you felt for him when he was just speaking. Unfortunately when he tried to get snarly angry tones it got really forced and went downhill, but I liked his normal speaking voice.

.... And that's basically it for their second cast. In terms of Ocean, I adore Ian, Scott, Brian and Ted Cole in all their facilities. I liked somewhat less but still rather well: Bulma, Krillian, Kami, Popo, little Gohan, Garlic and Puar.

I am unhappy to hear of Damien Clark's replacing as Perfect Cell. :(.
Though I was annoyed at how in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, Cell was sounding more and more like Plankton of Spongebob Squarepants.

Akira Toriyama, in Son Goku Densetsu wrote:You really can’t go by rumors (laughs).
