Bizarre merchandise time

Maybe this toy would've been more badass if the movie didn't, you know, suck.

I've seen bad DB masks before but these just look like crapy last minute Halloween masks that you'll buy at Party City. I would've consider buying them if they were sleeping masks. So that every time I'm asleep in bed and my boyfriend wants to wake me up for quick romp, he'll see my angry Goku eyes.

At first this was kind of cool to me, until I realize that if I saw this thing in a grown man's living room couch and not in his kid's room, where it rightfully belongs, I have every right to punch him in the back of his head.

Yes, why pay about $5 for a simple black T-shirt and a $1 for an orange bandanna when I can pay $31.38 for tacky RR shirt with a orange bandanna printed on it!

Hmm... Actually I'll hate this shirt a lot less if it said "Boooolious!" in the back instead.

This is more awesome than the "Good-bye Ten-san" tee. If only it didn't come in obnoxious orange and hard to read black.

Out of all of those pages you linked, not one has the technical specs for them. They look cool and everything, but if they sound like ass, I wouldn't want 'em. Especially when I know of a great pair of headphones I could go get for about $14 at Walgreens right now.

That's just me though.

I like me some dynamics.

Funny stuff in this thread, but I'd have to say the Thread Winner is Broli with Videl's body, hands down.

That's why it's best just to wait until the release. Maybe they're be some reviews or more information on headphones. But I'm going to assume they're just your average headset.

It flat out says "Dragon Ball Kai Eyemask" in Japanese and English.

That's what an Eye Mask is. Do a google search for Eye Mask and you get nothing but sleep Mask results.

Even looking at the Japanese Wikipedia for "Eye Mask" comes up with the first line telling you "Also called 'Sleep Mask' "

My old site's not up anymore, so even though I've posted the image before, it's not going to be visible on any of the old threads I posted it on.

I've told the story before, but hey, it's probably been a couple of years, so anyone who hasn't seen this before might want to know what the hell this is. When I was in Japan in the summer of 2004, I went to a random hole-in-the-wall toy store that had tons of these anime character kewpie style cellphone charms (which, I highly doubt that neither the creators of the series nor the makers of Kewpie dolls granted their consent to create

). There were a couple of Dragonball ones; the PiccoloxRoshi shown above, and another one that I think was Gokuu and Gohan. I bought the above one because it looked so funny and the pairing of those two characters makes absolutely no sense.

As a bonus, I'll throw in another amusing thing that I own:

It's a little figure that sticks to a car window, featuring Super Saiyan Trunks. Now, there are plenty of Japanese charms and things that feature the phrase "anzen unten" (safe driving). This one, however, promises SUPER safe driving. And, yes, I do actually have this in my car (the other rear passenger window has a plush Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club). And, hey, it must be working, because I've never had a traffic accident

(though the car that the figure was in at the time the picture was taken was later crushed by a tree....but not while the figure was in it!)

LOL, I actually have that kite, too! Bought it at Walmart for, like, $3. I've never taken it out of the package, though. I've meant to take it with me to the beach sometime and try it out, but I've never remembered to bring it (though, given the assumed quality level, that's probably for the best....it'd probably tear in half at the first gust of wind
