I don't think it's really that big of a deal though.

These are the only DragonBox (DBZ) images left that weren't used previously.

Four images left, four boxes left. Done and done.
I'm predicting it'll go Gohan, Cell, Piccolo, then Goku.

Nice, the last info I heard was it would be released on the 18th. The 4th is even better. :D

It's not that much of a problem, we accepted Namek arc Goku on the cover of the first box right away, and we're pretty accepting of Cell arc Vegeta on the second.

As you said, Namek arc Goku on box 1, Android/Cell Arc Vegeta on box 2 and now first form Freeza on box 3.

Most likely pre-Cell Games Gohan on box 5 and Piccolo on box 6. Though the episodes it will contain Piccolo pretty much takes a backseat and finally SSj Goku which hasn't been seen since the Cell Games on box 7.

Yup, I got confused. With the Dragon Ball blue bricks, Dragon Box Z sets, and now Dragon Ball "Z" Kai sets, the dates can get quite confusing. :?

I wonder if that's the full art from toei?

It is likely Toei sent the files to FUNimation and it just so happened their designer decided to position it as he did, whereas the designer of the original did it his own way.

I was really expecting Frieza on the second box and probably Vegeta on the third, but I guess it really doesn't make that much of a difference. I'm just glad we finally have the chance to own an original release at its finest quality.

One thing I regret about the domestic release of the boxes is that they don't have an introduction by Akira Toriyama-sama like they had in the original Japanese releases. That would've blown my mind away, literally.

It makes a lot of sense for Freeza to be on the third box, it's where his ultimate battle is and where he meet's his fate with Mirai Trunks.
Cell will make box 5 because it's where his ultimate fight with Gohan and his demise is. But since it's imperfect cell.. it'd be better for him to be on Box 4.
And SSJ Goku on Box 5.

Piccolo is an obvious Box 6..

I wonder if FUNi got the artwork for Gohan? as he wasn't on the actual box art but just the spine art..

Gohan needs to be on Box 4 to make the rest of the boxes make sense.

I'll just say either Gohan or Imperfect Cell on either box 4 or 5 would work since the Imperfect, Cell, Perfect Cell, Cell Games and Sayiaman arc really focus on those two a lot.

The Cell Games and Saiyaman sagas have nothing to do with the Android Saga/Pre SS Gohan.

You fucking kidding?

We've had Namek Arc Goku on the Saiyan Arc box, Cell arc Vegeta on the Namek arc box, and now Namek arc Freeza on the Freeza Arc, we keep pointing that out too...

Who gives a shit if they're the wrong age and wearing the wrong outfit now? We're still getting the awesome cover art.

Agreed. We're actually getting the box art that was used on the original Dragon Boxes on ours. What more could you ask for?

The difference between the brick sets and the DBoxes are they made up the brick picture, the Dbox ones are pre-existing.
