Yesssss! I knew this would be it. This is the last chance they had to use this image without it totally not making sense. If they discarded it or edited it, it would really take away from their authenticity that they've desperately tried to maintain.

Four boxes in, and we haven't gotten any extras yet. Box Five would be a weird place to start.
If any kind of extras show up at all, I would expect them on the seventh and final Box. But I'm not about to hold my breath.

I know you can't use any other picture for the cover, but what does that version of Gohan have to do with Season 5? This is the exact same thing they did for Season 6 of the Remastered sets.

It's really only a few episodes removed from the contents of that box. Much more timely than Cell arc Vegeta on Box 2 or Freeza arc Goku on Box 1.

I referenced that in my first post. I know they don't have much to work with, so I'd probably do the same. Or get Toei to make a new cover for me.

To be fair, there aren't any pieces which would be appropriate for the first 42 episodes except for Piccolo (but I'm sure
somebody could fine something wrong with it to disqualify it - the colour of a particular piece of clothing, his ear angled a certain way, anything.) and Goku is definitely the star of the show.
I think the Dragon Boxes look pretty good on their own merits.

That didn't stop the bricks from putting Vegeta on box one and Goku on box two. That said, that's kinda the point. All of the DBox images are screwed up chronologically to a certain extent (except for box 4), so complaining about box 5's image for being anachronistic while being fine with all the rest of them is just kinda silly.
