Goku fights Jackie Chun and wins. Goku fights Tenshinhan and wins.
You worded that awkwardly, Jackie Chun and Tenshinan both beat Goku...not the other way around.

That has nothing to do with GT. It's dragonball so why is it on this thread at all?

Your so strong. But I don't care. I will beat you I will find a way. I am pure good. You are evil. Good always trumps evil. Even though I'm weak as shit. But I will win. You are no match for me Mr Evil Super Powerful Guy.

The fights in which he is clearly inferior, he has that kind of mentality. I didn't find it realisitc. Goku doesn't act that way in DB IMO.
No, he doesn't. If you read my first post where I use these fights as examples to disagree with you, you'll see that in each of these fights Goku admitted defeat at least once. I admit, during his first fight with Baby Vegeta, he was convinced that Baby would lose someway somehow despite how curbstomped he was. But, not too long after Goku himself realized he couldn't win and was ready to face death.

And I seem to recall Goku acting the way you describe in Z as well, specifically during the Kid Boo fight where he says "Majin Boo's so much stronger than anyone I've ever faced before, but I know there's still a way to win!"

Incidentally, a lot of the criticisms that people complain about in GT are present in Z as well. They just happen to ignore them out of convenience.

Yeah, sorry for that.

Because of that the discussion was that DBGT differs in handling it's characters well compared to DB and DBZ, in case you missed reading the previous page.
