DragonBall Episode 4: Oolong The Terrible

Thoughts: Hey, a new character! I've been getting tired of Goku and Bulma alone. And I hope the Turtle Hermit shows up again! Another funny episode. Bulma is such a slut...but oh well. And Oolong seems intimidating at first, but he's a only a tiny pig. Good episode.

Predictions: Let's see. Just like that, they need only 3 more DragonBalls. I think Goku and Bulma will find the last 3...in the next two episodes. The wish..? I doubt Bulma will get her perfect boyfriend. Hopefully Oolong isn't a one-time character. And I'm also digging the Flying Nimbus!

Bulma's actions are definitely a bit much...she's determined to get her wish, but I think she took it a bit too far at times. And yeah, Oolong was fun with his antics, you can do so much when you're a shapeshifter...though, the time limit doesn't help. And who doesn't want a flying cloud? I'd love that!

I love reading BlazeGogeta's predictions! Reminds me of when I was a new fan of the series. Of course, I had the luxury of reading the manga, but the anime is good too (once you get used to some drawn out segments).

DragonBall Episode 5: Yamcha The Desert Bandit

Thoughts: Huh. Wasn't expecting Oolong to come along for the ride! Ah, he's cool. And that "Piggy piggy!" (or a whistle in the manga? Eh?) made me laugh. Oolong's a sly little bastard, and it shows that he's not afraid to ditch Goku and Bulma. And Yamcha and Pu'ar! Yamcha seems like a strong fighter, as he put up a fight against Goku. I just now realized Goku's appetite! And I think Goku could've maybe died if Bulma hadn't woken up! Oh well, I think Yamcha will show up again.

Predictions: I haven't seen Pilaf, Show, and Mai in a bit... Wonder what they're up to? He's got a DragonBall, so he'll HAVE to meet up with Goku, Bulma, and Oolong. Eh. And also, I'm interested in this Fire Mountain! Hoping to see Yamcha and Pu'ar return as well.

Maybe I'll do episode 6 tonight?

Oolong's certainly fun when he's around. Yamcha did get somewhat lucky that Goku wasn't at his best. But, there's always time for a rematch. And yeah, Goku's got quite an appetite.

As for the trio of evil, it is pretty sensible to assume they'll meet up with Goku and co eventually. Though, that kind of meeting is one that's usually a bit of a dicey situation.

Personally, I wish I would have done something like this when I restarted watching the series & films in it's entirety. In fact, it has been a good two years, and I have yet to complete it. Currently on 260 of Z. 31 episodes to go before GT. Whoo......~ Definitely something I cannot wait to cross off my bucket-list.

In any case, good luck with your endeavor! Some chunks of the series may be a total convoluted mess, or an exhausting process, so make sure to turn off your brain and indulge as much as you can. Have fun!
