Re: Japan Earthquake Magnitude 8.9
My thoughts go out to everyone in Japan. I hope everything goes for the best.
Glad Kei, Julian and everyone from around these parts are doing okay. I would still be shitting bricks right now, that's scary stuff.
Some of the coverage here has been showing the aftermath, and how they were actually very well prepared for such a disaster (which is very good to hear).
By the way, does anyone here from Portugal know if there's any donation thing for Japan going on already?

Well hopefully who ever made the choice to cancel Kai got caught in it
. But in all seriousness I hope that everyone is ok and I would happily donate (if I could
) Hopes Kei17 and the Japanese Voice Actors are ok as well as the rest of the staff not to mention the rest of Japan.

Watching Japanese streaming TV, it's like they're covering the apocalypse.
It's a good thing Japan has so many well-engineered buildings. I know many lives have been lost, but so many lives were probably saved due to that.
This is pretty scary shit. My sincere condolesences to folks living in Japan.

I am so pissed off, I can't logically put it all into words that are allowed here. First off, YES I am American so I know how this is about to sound...but what in the hell is wrong with people here???? Every time a "natural disaster" happens in the world, the US thinks it needs to go waste million of US dollars trying to fix it. Hey heres an idea...give to the causes HERE and let's fix THIS country and worry a little let about what natural selection is doing to the rest of the planet.

Re: Japan Earthquake Magnitude 8.9
You do know that many countries around the world help each other with donations and support after a natural disaster... not just the US. I'm not going to disagree with the fact that the US wastes it's share of money in affairs that it shouldn't be involved in, but this isn't one of those affairs.LeprikanGT wrote:I am so pissed off, I can't logically put it all into words that are allowed here. I can't believe you said that. We're all human beings, right? Who cares if they're from a different "country."LeprikanGT wrote:I am so pissed off, I can't logically put it all into words that are allowed here. I'm surprise that this thread was allowed here since it's not a DB thread. I think this is awful news and I think it's awful that someone like this happen to them. I really hope things will be better for Japan in the next few years like the US was after Katrina.

I was watching the news last night, and saw all the activity on Twitter.
All these natural disasters are heartbreaking. All the death, destruction....
Really, really wish I could donate but I have no job.

Re: Japan Earthquake Magnitude 8.9
I understand that this is not DB related in the anime sense, but I think since it's affecting the country of origin and a lot of people in Japan that are suffering and will suffer from this; I thought it would be considerate to shed light on it so others could be informed and maybe even stay connected partly through this forum. I believe a sharing of information is critical at this point.Hellspawn28 wrote:I'm surprise that this thread was allowed here since it's not a DB thread.
