I recently watched the English dub of the Bardock special, and it almost ruined it for me. Besides the stupid dialogue changes and horrible voice acting, they changed the names in a way that didn't appear to make any sense at all. Toma = Torah, Selypa = Fasha, Totapo = Borgos, etc.

Will you be making "Kakarotto"? He did appear in a flashback that Raditz had in the anime. Even though he is an what if.

Also, the FAQ says you're gonna cover special mangas too, does that include Neko Majin Z?

Hey, don't be angry. When Tekilazo began the project, he didn't know that this would gonna be so big, so he didn't care too much to the names, and he put the Funimation names.
I have talk with him a lot of times about this, and this year, we'll gonna change the cards design with official logos, and official names, in occidental and japanese.
P.S: It's Toteppo, not Totapo.

About Kakarotto, I don't think so, because there is not official new images of that.
And no, Neko Majin Z it's not a special manga, it's a Dragon Ball Parody and it can't be considered canon.

Well... that sucks. I was hoping we could get Goku with original Saiyan armour and Onio and Kuriza artwork...

Wah? How exactly is it a parody? And why can't it be considered as such? Some of its events fits decently in the continuity and it is done by Toriyama.

Sure, that's they live in our planet earth, they have yens, a simple saiyan can turn to ssj without sense, and Vegeta can turns to ssj when it's with Frieza, and at the same season where Vegeta can be ssj and be at the Frieza's side, Goku has more than 40 years old and have trained with Uub. Sure, fits a lot.
In the title says Nekomajin Z, not Dragon Ball, it's from Toriyama, but it's not really serious in the Dragon Ball cronology, it's only a gag manga.

I've got a more pertinent question now. Both me and another friend want to use these renders. I want to use them for my own project, a Dragon Ball franchise in-universe story website. My friend wants to use them for for the M.U.G.E.N. project, to use them as background characters.
From what I understood, you guys would be OK with this, problem is since they're not vectorized, there's a huge loss when the size is changed. Are there any plans to change this to vectorize, if possible? Or is it too much to ask?

I said some. And the part with Goku can fit quite well. Who says he didn't go back to his family after he trained Oob, who says he took a long time. And after Goten and Trunks being able to go SSJ, I don't see Onio doing so as insulting.

So if it doesn't have the name DB it can't be considered part of it? And it can't be part of the super-serious, continuity heavy world that is the Dragon World? Got ya.

Dude, I don't think there's any point with arguing with the rules. It's every character from both the manga and the anime, from beginning to end, movies, TV specials and both new specials included, possibly the new Bardock special too. Everything else is not included BUT it might appear in the private accounts of the participants of the project. I found Super Saiyan 3 Trunks and Vegeta in the private accounts, and as Raykugen just said, she'll do the Neko Majin characters for her private account.
There is no point arguing, that's out the project is.

There is no point arguing, that's out the project is.
I'm not arguing that they should. I'm just trying to figure out why Raykugen considers Neko Majin not to be even partially part of the Dragon World, or even franchise as a whole. Especially since by her logic a lot of the movies wouldn't even fit the criteria.

Of course you can use the renders, it's by fans for fans, but I don't understand what you say about the size.

The friend of nekomajin it's still being a kid when Vegeta appears and Goku has more than 40 years old, it can't fit, they are only gags, it can't be part of the official cronology, it's impossible.

I mean that, since it's not vectorized, it loses a fuckton of quality when I shrink it to fit in a page. Vectorized pictures maintain the quality no matter what size.

What we do it's vectorize basically, but in huges resolutions.

Yeah, but then you save in in .png format, so when the size is changed, resolution is lost, lines are warped, pixelization shows. Now if you save it in .svg, no change ever occurs, no matter what size you choose to resize it.

Sorry, but that's not possible with Paint Tool Sai. I don't understand what you want, when the images are huge.

No, I don't see what you mean, I don't understand what you mean and I don't know what do you want to do.
But in Paint Tool Sai IT CAN'T be saved with the format you want.
