The reciept says its movie 1 o__o also the lie that I guess could give me a troll representation was that I revealed the Boys and Girls Club I attend to made their own dub of DBZ...however I left out a detail (I was apart of it) and lied about the years it came out and such.

I already set up an AIM session with the clerk that put out the DVDs, so he can confirm that this was a valid purchase (though i already stated that this was an official release)

Plus I don't even know how to make DVD covers >.>

There is no way on gods green earth that is an official release, and anyone that legitimatly believes that should know I have prime real estate in bermuda for sale for a deep discount!

And please "I don't know how to make DVD covers" my ass. ZOMG MS PAINT set to dimensions of a DVD cover play with art and print. Don't make me make another one, I already had too much fun adding Jumpman to the last one.

Nothing is adding up. Why would a Hollywood Video even sell bootlegs? Especially of a relatively obscure foreign dub? And why the hell would it be double feature footage? And the Mondo Cool thing is dead giveaway. If it is real, why can't you show even one single clip or a picture of the disc? Hell, record it from your TV or something, I don't care, just so proof beyond DVD covers that someone could easily reproduce.

My video ripping program, Freemake needs to be reinstalled.
My webcam however, as low quality as it is, was working.

My plan was to rip some clips, and take screencaps of the DVD menus in VLC media player.

And again, I ask: if you didn't have the DVD in the first place, how did you even experience these problems to begin with? Since, y'know, your friend was the one who had it? Hell, even without a video ripping program you could still take screencaps of the menus in VLC Media Player regardless. It's not like they're intertwined.

He came over after I wanted to see the DVD for myself, we watched it, I put it in my laptop and tried to rip it, but it didn't work and his mom came to pick him up soon after.

Why would Hollywood Video sell bootlegs? Why would Hollywood Video sell something that doesn't have a UPC code on it? Why is the sales tax on a $14.99 item only six cents? Why would the bootleg refer to itself as the Big Green dub, an unofficial name for the dub used only by fans? Why would it use Double Feature footage, requiring the audio to be resynced since it's PAL? Why would someone try to sell the Big Green dub to America, a dub mocked by the hardcore fandom and unknown to the casual fans, especially considering they had the source for the FUNimation dub audio seeing as they had the video track? Why would the back-cover say Mondo Cool, a throw-away line that's only notable to places like these forums? Why would the cover be so terribly done, to a degree far worse than any actual bootleg?

It's almost as if it was made by someone who browses these very forums. ZOINKS SCOOB, WHAT'S GOIN' ON?!
