I wonder... the one who made out this bill... he can't use the internet and that's why he wants to ban it from everyone in the world

!
I mean, c'mon... don't tell me he's someone in such a high position and does not use internet! Everyone uses internet. The Prime Minister of the UAE uses Facebook to communicate with the low-mid class. What would happen if the US banned Facebook?!

I don't know about any one else, but I definitely don't want anything to with with the Islamic culture and Sharia Law.
Arab is not synonymous with Islam and Islamic countries do not always rule by Sharia Law. There are also Christian Arabs and Jewish Arabs. I just want to make that clear since it seems that many Westerners have a confusion regarding this.
And if we think about the Arab countries and their situation there regarding richness and free will; I bet that there won't be long to when the situation is the same in the west, as democracy is being killed to be able to obtain profit for corporations. This bill is one of those situations.
The Arab countries rule under the Islamic law ((Debatable!)), but for the most part, here are the banned sites:
Pornography, nudity and sexually explicit content.
The entire Israel country code top-level domain
Certain media-sharing websites. (A lot of torrent sites are banned)
Anti-Islamic websites. (Including a lot of Shia sites)
Websites criticizing the United Arab Emirates (such as UAEprison and Arab Times)
Anonymous proxy sites (such as vtunnel, pzeg, etc.)
Gay and Lesbian Rights websites (such as Gaydar, Mogenic etc.)
Numerical IP address links (for example,
http://10.11.1.1/)
Voice over IP services providers' websites (such as Skype, Vonage) ((Skype does work, although the site itself is banned))
Gambling sites
Firearms and drugs dealers
4Chan and Danborou are blocked here as well. Youtube, Megaupload and Deviant Art were blocked before but open now.
