Here's my stance on Hoshi: simply ignore it. Let idiots be idiots, and let them hope for a new series to come. So there's some people on YouTube (which is already known for the great, intelligent comments its users put on videos) that believe there's a new Dragon Ball series coming. So what? It's not like it affects us in any way. The day a new user starts a topic asking about Hoshi is the day we should start worrying about getting rid of it. Until them, just ignore it.

Even I put it aside from my thoughts by ignoring it since it is true it doesn't affect us in any way but I am pretty sure to that it may not have been a thread topic but someone mentioned "Hoshi" on here thinking it was real. That video that bumped this thread though... I'm going to pretend I didn't see it at all.

I agree. That's what I'm doing and I'm fine. There are only two Dragon Ball forums that I visit, this, and DBOCom, the second only for the DBO game. I'm barely affected by this, and I don't care. One day, they will realize that it's not going to happen, or they will loose interest about Dragon Ball. Just leave them in YouTube hoping for nothing.

Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. The content of the interview snippet is the presenters asking Toriyama about his interest in video games. He replies that he doesn't do it very much, but that he plays along with his children, who are much better at them than he is. Unlike him, they play every day.

Not sure where or when this interview was done, but judging by the fashions and the hairstyles, I'd have to say it was at least a few years ago. It's becoming rarer and rarer these days to see a group of people where absolutely nobody's hair is either dyed something other than black, or going grey. :? His two children should also both be adults by now, but it's entirely possible that they are still living with him and still playing video games.

Once 2013 passes by and people complain about "Hoshi" not happening all over YouTube, I shall have a good laugh!
So, yeah, we just have to wait for that to all die down. If people really believe this than they truly believe 2013 will bring Hoshi, but when it doesn't let's hope it dies down.
So mondo lame.

There will be more "trailers" in the future, and they will delay the "release" of Dragon Ball Hoshi, like with AF.

Ah, crap, there goes my wishful thinking.
Maybe they'll "delay" it so much that the anticipating people will get fed up? That'll take a good, long while, though.

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Anyway, the comments on that interview video made me laugh. Especially the one that went along the lines of "How can people say it's fake when we've got this evidence?" xD

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! DBZanto for example is a YouTube Partner who posts DBZ game walkthroughs and it's an honest way of monetising, getting paid means he'll do more Dragon Ball games.

As for these Hoshi kids.. they don't have future with the crap they post.

I was sent a YouTube video about NecessaryGaming which is like Machinima, and getting paid to play would be cool, I registered at their site but don't have much hope I'll be picked. I don't have any recording or TV to PC capture card. :?
Video game streaming is a bit more complicated than uploading episodes to youtube. Plus if the person is part of a network then they have the legal rights since the networks pay the companies so that their members can upload such content.

That being said, this thread has made me interested in Hoshi and the first video to pop up was some using the Episode of Bardock as hoshi episode 1.

Le sigh.

Tupac Shakur fans point out why 2Pac's alive (I dunno if I should believe he's dead or alive), some Dragon Ball fans make up bullshit called "Dragon Ball Hoshi" and Bin Laden's apparently dead but there's no videos or photos as evidence.

IIRC, TOEI ANIMATION and FUNimation have total liberty of striking those "Hoshi" videos down if they wanted.

Ah, but there's the rub: if they take down the videos, it will give the series "legitimacy" in the eyes of the believers (or at the very least, will be trumpeted as such by the trolls when they put the videos back up). After all, why would the rights holders take such an interest if they weren't actually planning something?
