It's not a "sub vs. dub" thing and you can offer facts to back up your claims if you so desire. How it is any different from the fans of the English dub (I refuse to make such a blanket statement which suggests all fans of the English dub share the same opinion) who may make such claims about Nozawa which fans of the Japanese version hate so much? Throwing ones hands in the air and lowering oneself to the level of the lowest common denominator isn't something which should be acceptable, they just become a basher themselves.VegettoEX wrote:"I think they sound exactly the same."
Again, it's the same spiel we get shot from English dub fans. They can't offer anything else back beyond that, and neither can I.
People don't like Sabat? Hey, that's cool. They're allowed to dislike him just as anybody is allowed to dislike Nozawa or Schemmel or whoever else happens to irritate them whenever they speak. But we shouldn't take personal issue with whether or not somebody dares to dislike Nozawa or Sabat. It's just a cartoon which everybody here happens to have in common but none of us, no matter which version we prefer or if we own a fansite devoted to it, own the franchise in any way.
In short, it's just like "Dragon Ball Hoshi" in that there will always be people who believe Nozawa's portrayal of Goku's family sound exactly the same, no matter how much evidence is provided to prove them wrong. Do fed up fans of the Japanese version really want to be lumped under that label just because they see an opportunity to do the same to fans of the English dub?
