I'm still very jealous of Percel, ever since I first heard he was looking after that era, I have been very jealous of him.
I really would still like the Dragonball series between Dr. Slump Arale-chan and Z to be playable, flying or no-flying.
At least some characters from that era like Kid/Teen Goku and Piccolo Daimaoh.

In all honesty, he'd probably switch places with us pretty quickly considering he had to deal with a three-way war in that era by himself.

The only way Xenoverse 2 could have Ultimate's as amazing as the ones in Budokai 3 is if Xenoverse 2 turns into a 2D fighter. I would actually really welcome a return for cutscene Ultimate's ala the Budokai series.

Or if they scrapped Team Battles completely, due to the nature of them, you don't want Ultimates with long flashy cutscenes.

I think Burst Limit did that. Every time you hit someone with an Ultimate you ended up in space, IIRC.

Have it be 2 leveled then, hit with Ultimate once you get barren wasteland, hit with Ultimate twice you get space, that said with Xenoverse's current system it would get old really fast.

Okay.
Well here's another thing on my wishlist that it guaranteed.
Yamcha as a player character fully voiced like in XV1.
and maybe the cast of Dragonball, at least Kid Goku and Piccolo Daimaoh.

I'd love to see some characters from other Toriyama manga make an appearance. Arale from Dr. Slump was in the Tenkaichi games. It'd be cool if they could include Beezelbub from Sand Land or Makoleen from Cowa.
I don't see where the story could go for a Xenoverse 2. Is another time altering baddie going to distort the same events as in Xenoverse? That would get old. Or is it going to go into Super now? If that's the case, it will have a very thin piece of material to work with.
I think Xenoverse should be a one-off. Definitely great that it had an original story, but I think they all should like the Toei movies were. It's nice that we got 4.5 new characters (Kaioshin of Time, Mira, Towa, Demigra, and Tokitoki), but we can do a lot better in the next game.
They could just do a story where anything happens depending on your actions in the game. Whatever you pick what happens, the story changes. This can allow more creative ideas and even use characters from Heroes to be used. You can have your character work for the Time Patrol or Time Breakers. They both have their own hub world and have their own mentors to train you.
Time Patrol mentors (In no real order):
Mr. Satan
Master Roshi
Korin
Jaco
King Kai
Krillin
Tien
Yamcha
Piccolo
#18
Pan
GT Trunks
Pikkon
Fat Buu
Gotenks
Elder Kaioshin
Tapion
Mystic Gohan and Videl
Vegeta
Goku
Vegito
SSj4 Gogeta
Whis and Beerus
Time Breaker mentors (In no real order):
Tao Pai Pai
Piccolo Daimao
Radditz and Nappa
Zarbon and Dodoria
Captain Ginyu
Freeza
Salza
Coola
Dr. Gero
Cell
Time Breaker Bardock
Broli
Bojack
Dabra
Buuhan
Aka
Bebi Vegeta
Super #17
Super Yi Xing Long
Whoever is the main villain in Super is
Towa and Mira

Towa and Mira definitely left the story open for a sequel, especially since they had a much bigger influence in DBO. Also, we don't need to include the Toei movies. Xenoverse was already a big "what-if" to begin with, so adding the movies would just be a mess (although if they plan on bringing Broli or something again at least let it make sense as to when and where they appear).
So yeah I'm sure they have a lot of material to work with if they are allowed to utilize a lot more material from DBO and its backstory.
With Xenoverse being TM'd, we know it's at least got a sequel coming. Maybe we'll see a teaser at E3, maybe we won't. Earliest release is probably early 2017 at this point. But for right now, what else should we say should be in for XV2? With Super ongoing and the Champa arc starting soon, there is definitely going to be a lot more material to work alongside the return of Towa and Mira. Plus all the nifty things Heroes has as well. Like with Super Mira and Darkness Towa. Seeing the villains evolve and transform to battle the Time Patrollers will make things more exciting and bring tension.
There is so much that can be done to make XV2 vastly superior to what we got already. We can only hope Toei and Bandai listen. There's so much material and so many things that can be introduced. Xenoverse should've been the Demo, the Prototype for the Dragon Ball game that every fan has been looking forward to. They know the mistakes that were made, they know the things that didn't sit well with the fans or gaming community, and they know that We. Want. More. More characters, more Character Creation models and methods, More Story.
They need to step back and take a look back into the earlier days of 3d games. Back in the PS1 and PS2 days. At those times we had games with tons of story content. Maybe not the best gameplay in them, but so much story and so many good stories that we didn't mind it. We the community got more bang for our buck back then when compared to todays market when all it seems we do is pay more and more money just to pieces of a game that were being intentionally withheld just to have an excuse for micropayments and DLC content.
I'm not saying there shouldn't be DLC content. I am saying that we shouldn't feel like we only bought half a game and then have to buy the other half for the same price. It is a disgusting business practice that has tainted a number of good titles in recent years. Not even the Star Wars brand name could save the likes of Battlefront.

1.) No super armor. Ever. For any reason. If I hit you with a strong attack, you will stagger. End of.
2.) No time limits, or if there are time limits, running out doesn't cost you the match. Instead, it results in a score penalty and/or no Ultimate Finish.
Basically, no "fake difficulty", because that's all the two above features add to the proceedings. What's that, developers? You want the matches to be harder for the player? Then sit your ass down and program better AI. And no, "better AI" does not mean "infinite ki and stamina".
To a strong man, the end justifies the means. To a stronger man, the means justify the end.

Super armor wouldn't be such an aggravation if we could break it with a counter move. Like, say, God Breaker or Pressure Sign. Far as time limits in PvP, we should be able to adjust them. But the problem is that removing them just allows players to revive each other over and over again, resulting in an endless battle. I think PvP shouldn't be more than 5min honestly. Because you do have people who will run away the whole fight and run out the clock in order to not lose. Time Limits in Patrol Quests are just a given. Having infinite time to complete a side thing just seems pointless.
However, if we kept this kind of level system, PQ's should be giving out a helluva lot more exp. The level grind in XV was just pure disgustingly awful.

No, that's specifically what I want removed. Giving us a time limit when we've got to defeat 15 characters is just another example of fake difficulty. You're fighting the same terrible AI, and the only thing that makes it difficult is that the game is forcing you to jump through totally arbitrary extra hoops. That's not a valid challenge. If the developers want the game to be more difficult, then it's their responsibility to make it better at playing itself, not our responsibility to make up the difference by having to dance a jig while doing the same old thing.
Oh, I thought of one more thing, although it really wasn't that much of an issue outside of one or two instances:
3.) No escort missions. I'm not here to be a babysitter. Either keep them from dying or keep them out of the fight.

If you have infinite time to kill 15 easy npc's, then there's no agency to it, and you shouldn't be reward much for doing that. Beating, say, Piccolo, GOku and all them within a limited time is supposed to be a challenge. Having infinite time to get it done won't be any challenge at all. I don't call this fake difficulty. Fake difficulty is like whittling down the Stamina Armor of Oozaru just to hurt them. Especially Baby in the GT Story mission as it seemed nothing would even affect it, and you have to hit him on the top of his head to even have any kind of effect on it. When the only effective strategy against him and other Great Apes is to use Blue Tornado, then it just clearly showed how lazy the combat mechanics were for those battles.
Escort missions are garbage. But I can understand them a bit. What I don't get is why you can't heal your escort companion with your Z-items. That's what I don't get. I can use Z-Recovery All and it'd only heal me and not my escort partner. That I don't get.
