Does Toriyama hate Gohan and Yamcha?

Gohan is just being used the way toriyama thinks he should be done.
He used to hate Vegeta btw now he loves him apparently

He never hated him and even if he did it's irrelevant cause all fans care about is how he's written and in the original manga and Super he's a main character who plays a major role in every arc and is arguably the most developed character in the franchise.

Gohan on the other hand went from being a main character to being less relevant than the Pilaf gang and is barley in the story anymore even though he was the strongest non fused character at the end of the Buu arc.

That is the problem with Gohan, he is only useful to the series when he is the strongest. His character outside of fighting is useless for a show like this.

This is post-Dragon Ball (anime) Dragon Ball. Every character, outside Bulma and Hercule (come at me), is useless if they are not the strongest.

And don't get me wrong, that's not to say we need someone to be the strongest to make them relevant--not at all. The bad writing just makes it that way because nobody ever thinks outside the box with any of these characters or bothers to split them up like in the Namek saga.

No, I see no reason why anyone should think Toriyama hates Gohan.

And don't get me wrong, that's not to say we need someone to be the strongest to make them relevant--not at all.

Of course not, multiple relevant characters in the original weren't the strongest yet the got plenty of great screen time.

He's still Mr. Satan to me, but I prefer Hercule Satan over Mark Satan. I also use Pikkon instead of Paikuhan, Frieza instead of Freeza, Tien instead of Tenshinhan, Krillin instead of Kuririn, etc.

His last name isn't Satan. It's my understanding that it's a stage name in the same way Hulk Hogan's name isn't actually Hulk Hogan.
