I was gonna say, maybe it's a new movie, but looks like it's definitely Super.

I was thinking more of the lines of maybe a coincidental Xenoverse 2 cut scene or something but yeah that pretty confirmed it is not.

Ooh, hype! Is this thread gonna turn into the Official "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Thread or something like that after (assuming that's what gets announced) like the now Official Announcement Thread & Discussion and the Xenoverse 2 thread? Otherwise I assume we'll just discuss on the normal thread, but it'd still be cool to see it change suddenly.

Yep, all they announced was crap. There was no big announcement or anything about Dragon Ball. Very lackluster. It's probably why there was no stream, because people probably booed.

Next chance for an announcement would be Otakon which runs from August 12th to 14th.
Either way at least now we know they are recording it.
Hopefully it doesn't take way more than a year before they can do anything with it like Buu Kai.

I think they just say "surprise announcements" to make everyone think its Super to draw more attention to their panel.
