The bigger spoiler is what happens to anyone who gets eliminated from the tournament. We might see a permanent death somewhere.

I wonder why Beerus didn't think of Yamcha when this happened:

I kind of doubt it simply for the fact that if the heroes ring out someone who isn't a total POS like Frieza, you run the risk of making them look like unsympathetic assholes. This will be a problem for Goku especially if he goes back into Waku Waku Mode like the "spoilers" suggest.

The entire tournament is decided on people being ringed out. That would mean all of universe 7 actually would need to be in a standstill except for the really evil characters.

What I could see happening is all the good characters surviving the villains teaming up. Maybe the grand priest being revealed as a villain who is evil. Then Goku wishes that all the universes are merged into one so that Zemo can't erase them.

I actually feel all Universe' will become one... but that could cause serious damage.

Only thing that gets me thinking of that specific part of the spoiler is the fact that it's kind of like a Zeno hakai. Would the SDB even be able to revive someone like that? I mean with that rule in place, and with the fact we know almost everyone in the ToP on U7 team is in EOZ, it makes it rather odd. It'd be chilling to see one of our guys just fall into the void and get erased...

Something about that part just seems off to me...unless they are revivable i guess?

If Yamcha actually comes back, that would make me very happy. I'd much rather that then Freeza joining the heroes, but on the other side, it makes Goku look even worse, since he just took a big, reckless gamble, and it looks to be backfiring big time.

If they wanted Yamcha on the team, they wouldn't have been so desperate as to go ask for a dead guy to come back to life to fight with them. That's how little they all think of Yamcha. We'd rather have Frieza our sworn enemy fight beside us that your weak ass.

Wow. People everywhere really don't want Yamcha to participate....

I think it's about time. All the other humans get their time to shine. Why should Yamcha be any different?

I think this thread should be killed now that the official titles for future episodes have been leaked and nothing implies at all about Freeza defecting to Universe 4. As a matter of fact, there is an implication that Freeza goes on a rampage of some sorts in EP95.

False alarm folks. Freeza is definitely in and Yamcha is going nowhere.

With Goku protecting his surroundings, no less!

If you did read it please tell me how.

It should be also noted that not only were original leaked titles severely wrong but so were staff listings. The only similarity in from the original leaks and confirmed details about the future episodes is the title of Episode 97.

It's going to be yamcha and I'm stoked about it. There's plenty of lower level fighters for him to help out.

Majin Buu and frieza in the tournament would be overkill. Let frieza shine for universe 4. Buu can sleep until the next arc.

I knew this was BS from the moment I read it. There's no way in hell they would put Yamcha in. He's been nothing but a complete joke the entirety of Super. Like literally his character only exists in Super for comedic relief.

They would go with either Goten or Trunks before they'd go with Yamcha (Future Trunks if they actually had enough time to get him). But neither are happening anyway, so looks like we've still got Freezy-pop on our team for now, although him betraying U7 wouldn't be unexpected.

If the summaries, when they appear, confirm Yamcha isn't involved, that's just going to make those jokes at his expense in recent episodes that much more cruel and unnecessary. Why joke about it multiple times if there's no payoff? Seems strange.

Also what was Furuya doing all that Yamcha voice work for in that tweet? Unrelated project?

At least if this means were stick with Freeza, he won't be able to be brought back to life via the super db's when that wish inevitably happens.
On hiatus.
