The anime doesn't continue from BoG and RoF. The anime continues from its own retellings of BoG and RoF. Which, necessarily, overwrite the cinematic counterparts of these sagas.

Also you pulled that stuff about "powering up all modes" right outta your butt. If Goku can still go SSj God, then clearly he'll only have SSj God power in that form, not in his lesser ones. You're just saying that because you can't accept that SSj and later base were originally intended to have incorporated ALL the power of SSj God (Beerus states Goku hasn't gotten much weaker when dropping out of God), but were later shown to be on par with Super Saiyans who had never experienced such a thing. Just let it go and accept that the writers of the show entirely changed their concept midway through, with no narrative transition to signal it. That's why so many people are still confused.

There’re several problems with Gokuh using God in the anime.

The main problem is the fact that Gokuh never used it after the Golden Freeza Arc until the Universe Survival Arc. This makes Gokuh more dumb than he already is in the anime. There are times when Gokuh was trying to save his stamina but he used Blue instead of transforming into God.

I don't even think we have to say they dropped the idea. The concept is pretty simple.

In that particular battle Goku was able to maintain the power of SSG in his SSJ form. That doesnt mean that after the battle finishes he can keep using it or summon it up. It was part adrenaline and being in the heat of the battle. Once he is defeated he reverts back to the power scale before he had the SSG power until he taps into it on his own again. At that point every transformation is where it needs to be.
