I think that Trunks isn't that bad... so long as you don't look at the hair!

The head looks terrible, especially the metallic hair, but I think the body sculpt is actually pretty good (on that composed photo set with nice lighting).

Umm yeah. Terrible paint jobs, just sloppy all round. I have a very fractured relationship with Bandai, they can sometimes pull out the bag and make releases better than prototypes but more often than not it's usually releases looking worse unfortunately. I'm most often just left complaining.
An example of something they've recently (I say recent more like the last year or so) started doing is the UDM keychain figures used to be great, very cheap but were very detailed with great paint jobs but now Bandai have
stopped colouring boots, symbols, nails etc... now I'm very reluctant to get the newer UDMs.
