Bisexuality is so throughly erased by our society--especially among men--that just not assuming a character is bi or jumping to the conclusion that someone is a monosexual gay person just harms the bi community more.

Even among the Ls and the Gs the Bs are considered fucking black sheep. Hell, everyone who isn't cisgay or cishet is a black sheep because cishets will acknowledge cisgay people first and foremost before bisexual people because they're monosexuals, too.

He's straight. He is meant to be with Mai no matter the timeline, as we all saw in Dragon Ball Super, both manga and anime.

While I agree with you that he's intended to be straight (because I'm not convinced Toriyama is aware of any sexuality other than straight or gay) being with a woman doesn’t negate him being bi or pan.

Unless indicated otherwise, I usually don't assume bi, pan, ace, etc. It's possible and if that's your head canon, great. If your interpretation truly helps you enjoy the character more or helps you have fun, nothing wrong with that.

I would imagine 99% of the cast is probably heterosexual. The series is written by a baby boomer in a country that doesn't have the best take on LGBTQ+ stuff from what I've read.

yeah.. and then pan people are even MORE erased than bi people (whether monogamous or polyamorous, doesnt matter) which sucks major ass because being able to love whoever you want regardless of gender (and you love them more regarding specific personality traits, body types or whatever else you find appealing) is the coolest thing ever ♥

hence why i headcanon trunks as pan lol + this is my comfort character as a pan person i get to choose their orientation and identity /joking reference

i view most of the cast as at least a little bit queer.. except for oolong and roshi lol the cishet people can keep those two
