Thanks for the notice! I'll add it when the date is announced.

Good to know that more streaming services are interested into getting Daima.
A little too late but yeah, I've been officially active in Kanzenshuu for ten years :)

In case someone doesn't know their own timezone, that means "exactly 7 hours from now", so look at the time of my post and just add 7.

And 19 GMT+1 (most of Europe except Greece and the Uk, I think). Not a bad way to spend Friday nights.

Cartoon Network in the United States doesn't air anime anymore. Given their current programming lineup and daily broadcast schedule, it is very unlikely that they'll go back to airing anime again.

I don't think Daima will air on Adult Swim, given the fact that it'll be available on Netflix after October 19. I may be wrong, though.
For what it's worth, I mostly meant Adult Swim's Toonami getting to air Daima.

As much as I'd want it, I sadly don't see Cartoon Network proper airing Daima (which feels kind of... well, I wouldn't call it 'a slap in the face' to DB, but given Dragon Ball's well-known history with Warner Bros. via Cartoon Network and its (usually) high ratings on the channel, I'd think they'd try a bit harder to get the rights).

All of that being said, I do agree with you regarding Netflix's airing of the show potentially being an issue for Warner Bros./Turner getting the TV rights.

Had to take an intermission as I am eating lunch right now but Viu TV (yellow app as they have two streaming apps. Blue focusing on their TV station and yellow for vod material) is airing Daima right now. Chinese subs only. Free with ads.

Here's the details of the Middle Eastern release from Crunchyroll. Now strangely enough the only translation option provided is the Arabic language. No English subtitles for this region. I checked other shows on the site and they offer multi-language options and the same goes to the Dragon Ball Z movies.

Hey, thanks for confirming.

I seen a post about this on Facebook recently (just a promo image) but I didn't know whether to trust it because the page sharing it wasn't an official source as far as I could tell.

I was expecting some channel or streaming service in Hong Kong would get Daima too given the territories long history with Dragon Ball.

It seems that the anime was released in simulcast on Claro Video here in Latin America.

I think that image was sourced from Viu TV's official Facebook page. I got the same image from them as well. Also mentions MF Ghost season 2 as well.

Great news, hopefully Macau will follow, maybe mainland China too but that's probably a long shot.

For anyone following the Iraq-based channel 4Anime on their socials, they just teased Daima again. Doesn't confirm anything and sometimes they tease content months, or even a year beforehand but it may be a hint a Kurdish dub is well into production by now. I'm not aware of them airing anything subbed.

Wouldn't be surprised if Macau has access to Viu TV. It's not like they're Disney. 🤷

I checked with Hong Kong Netflix and Dragon Ball Daima is still not up yet. I hear people saying that it premieres on Tuesday.

Kept reloading Netflix Hong Kong and it's not up yet. So I switched my VPN over to Taiwan then lo and behold, it's up with English subtitles.

Daima is currently on Netflix. Audio and subtitles may vary between regions. English subtitles uses the FUNimation dub names.

It appears Viu TV have added English subtitles on their streaming of Dragon Ball Daima. If you have VPN, just set your servers to Hong Kong and open up their yellow app. They are airing it for free with ads.

You can download and install Viu TV's yellow app thru the link below.
