Hmm... I think it'd be a little more than that. Maybe around Freeza's second level, at most. Goku didn't seem as powerful (at base) in movie 4 as he was against Freeza, but he still needed a semi-Super Saiyan boost to top Slug.

At which stage did Freeza state himself to be at a million? Was it his second or third?

Freeza stated himself to be "over 1,000,000" when he went into his second suppressed form (second transformation).

Goku was either as strong as when he first landed on Namek (90,000) or when he fought Freeza at base. This is because he can use the Kaio-ken up to at least a fold of 10, his limit of the Kaio-ken in both situations, and he has the potential to tap the SSj powers.

But he can't tap into it fully, as in actually transforming. So I guess it's safer to put Movie 4 Goku closer to his level upon arriving on Namek. Slug was slapping Goku around fairly easily, so I guess movie 4 Slug in his prime would be around or just over Freeza's second level.

So... about 500 years before that, he'd be...

Duo could cover this better, but I believe movie 4 came out after Goku's SSJ transformation occured in the series. And even using Duo's three months thing, there's no way that production was started prior to Goku entering the regen tank in Freeza's ship. So I'd peg Goku as at the power he was against Freeza.

Though, I don't remember him using the Kaio Ken at all against Slug, until after his psudeo-Super Saiya-jin transforamtion... which seemed to heal him and boost his base power too.... Which makes it all rather vague and highly guesswork centric, but I'd put Slug at around 6 million.

Yeah. This is, of course, going with the idea of a 3 million base Goku.

In the battle with slug? Without. Goku only actually used the Kaio Ken once against Slug, after Piccolo gave him his energy.

If you mean in the battle with Freeza... that's up to if you go with the Daizenshuu or not. I used the 3 million base from the Daizenshuu here for simplicity sake.

Hey guys, I guess I'm kinda late in this discussion, but I'll throw my ideas into the pool. Mr. Popo talks about how the release of the Shadow Dragons had occured in another planet long ago. Could it be that the Shadow Dragons event was the cause of the cataclism on Namek?

And before you say "what happen to those dragons then?" I guess they may dissipate some time after they start rampaging, like they lose the evil energy or something, the evil energy may be like batteries to them, that's the whole point of them appearing isn't it? To dissipate evil energy.

They may have appeared due to selfish wishes, as it seems there were some evil nameks like Slug, I think they talk about some Super Nameks existing and that Slug was the last of them.
