Why? Sure it lacked as many great storys as Z but there were some characters that would be fantastic in a fighting game. I still want GT Trunks, GT Goten, Baby (not Baby Vegeta, just Baby) and Lord Luud.
I agree. While I didn't enjoy the stories, I think the characters would provide more diversity in this game, both in their designs and their attacks. Well, assuming that the developers would get creative with the attacks and use the characters' potential.
I just think most of the character designs are ugly as hell. ESPECIALLY SSJ4.... ugh... shudder. Whoever thought that was a good idea? All the Dragons are really bad too. And Super 17 should have had eyebrows... (I have the same issue with SSJ 3 characters)

The only designs I really liked were Pan and Uubu... but they didn't use those characters very well in the story.

You know a unique giant they should have instead? The Giant Luud Robot, turn things into dolls and all that.

You need to clarify wether your speaking for yourself or for others. If it is the latter then I suggest you say nothing. Who are you to say what should be this way and what should'nt, it ain't your property. You really need to go watch some other anime cause if your saying what you said about these certain designs then you really have'nt seen anything!

No Super 17 should'nt have had eyebrows...
No Super Saiya-jin 3 should'nt have eyebrows...
The Evil Dragons were unique etc.
Super Saiya-jin 4 was great and not just another golden haired variation.

If you do'nt like 'em then.... oh well but that does'nt label it a "bad design."

Yes DBGT was sorta lacking and a step down from what DBZ offered but that has nothing to do with the characters at all but how things were scripted.

I think that you need to read the words "I think" that people put at the beginning of their sentences. It is used to imply that they are stating they're opinions, so you don't need to go around claiming that people are speaking for others rather than themselves. As you see, some people believe that the designs from GT are bad, but that's they're opinion, let them state it.

Uh huh....yeah whateva, anyways does anyone think it's possible that Pikuhan might have his altenate without the over-robes and such? Also from an early video I saw it showed that Maijn Vegeta's attack are no longer chargeable is this jus' cause it was an early build or is it really an instant attack now? If so thats kinda depressing I liked it that way... but whtaeva.

Thanks for pointing that out Dubbie, I was just about to. I clearly said "I think" which implies that yes, it's only my own opinion.

Not to be a downer, but besides maybe being a completionist. Why would someone want to buy more or less the same game with the same style, more or less same characters that we have seen in previous SPARKING entries again?

I can't wait to play the same story for the 8th time...

To be honest, the only reason is for the new characters.

Not really true. The further improved even more refined show simulated gamplay is whats definately worthy of a purchase the characters are just the bonus.

Uh, what about the online play in the Wii version? That, along with 20-30 new characters justifies purchasing this series a third time around.(At least for me.) I'm really glad that DBZ:BT3 isn't going to be like the Madden series..I got that impression when it was unveiled.

I third it. So it is. New characters and Online battles ftw. I'm tired of single player and completely dominating anyone that comes over and plays. I feel kinda sad for those buying for the PS2.

New Japanese TV Spot :

It confirms Seripa as a playable character (when Broly transforms, she's the character at the top left), Hell as a playable level and 17 absorbed by Cell.

Wish you could get a better look at Hell...just a split second and it's mostly obscured by Janemba...
