Like my dad always says: To assume is to make an ass out of uand me. (Get it, it spells assume!  )
It's something that helps you get places and to show off with. this is just a TV show. Which makes mor sense: spending $1600 on two TV show boxsets, or more money on a nice-looking car?
I dunno, considering you can buy a cheap, not so good looking car, and just as easily get to where you need to go.

No matter what anyone says, you seem completely convinced that anyone who spends more than a two-digit amount of money on Dragon Ball is a drooling psycho that sits around all day rocking back and forth clutching a Piccolo plushie.

Oh, and people don't need brand new cars with crap for mileage just to get around.

hahaha I guess this isn't the time to say that I own a Piccolo plushie..

k then, 50 sucks! :P

In all seriousness though, if I had 1600 dollars to put into the dragon boxes I would buy it, I mean if you have the money and it's something you love, why not? We're not talking about choosing to buy the dragon boxes over paying your rent or a car, someone simply asked if it was worth it....and if you have the money to spend I don't see why it's such a terrible thing or makes you obsessive.

My question for him - if he's so against spending money on DBZ, then why is he on the forums? It boggles my mind.

I don't have the Dragon Boxes, but with US releases alone (VHS, DVD, Video Games, Cards, Clothes, Magazines, etc.) I've spent well over $3,000 probably. Mind you that's within the space of about 8+ years, but still - you do it because you love it, am I right?

I still can't get over your logic in half of these threads.

What's a better indication of what consumes your time? The cash you spent? That might depend on how much money you have. By the looks of things, you think $1600 is a ton of money. Others don't (probably because they work for more than $6.00)

On the other hand, lets look at average posts per day, because that requires just as much of an investment on both individuals (as far as time spent posting about DB)

jjgp1112 : 1.96 posts per day

Compared to Corey

MajinVejitaXV : 1.27 posts per day

And Corey owns ALL DragonBoxes, speaks out against FUNI, is pro Dbox, HOWEVER... he apparently is less consumed by DB... as opposed to you using that measurement.

That's all that needs to be said... well said. Some people spend cash on sports memorabilia, others on a stamp collection... you name it. There are tons of hobbies out there.

If you love the show, and you've got the dough why not buy it? If it isn't a financial hassle at all then go for it. Live the dream, buy a DragonBox.

Well I got a Chibi Goku plushie, which I got Kyle Hebert to happily clutch for a pic. :D

Guess that means he has no life either. :P

LMAO, I can see it too. Kyle has always been an odd duck.

And on that $3,000 , that could potentially be an overstatement. I've yet to calculate it, but it's got to be up there pretty high.
