It would have made good filler!
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

Of course Bulma wouldn't feel anything - she was sitting on her ass, not her crotch.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Unless I'm mistaken, most undergarments cover both.

True, but its ridiculous. As I remember, Vegeta had some serious badass scars all over his chest. Looked like he'd been cut with a sword a few times. Then, during the Buu saga, its all gone.

Scars go away, and considering that Vegeta is a Saiyan, the process of healing is more than likely to speed up. So, maybe you'd think that bringing up Tenshinhan's scar would contradict that statement, adding to the fact that his scar never went away even when he was in the afterlife.

This can be explained simply by referring to an old myth/tale (not sure where it originated from..) Apparently, the person who holds an extreme grudge against another individual, can end up inflicting a wound/scar that can never be fully healed. Ex: Taopaipai's mark on Tien's chest.

I'm actually really surprised, and impressed, that Toriyama kept Tenshinhan's scar all the way through Dragonball Z. It seems like something he would've forgotten about or ignored. Its just really cool sometimes to see Tenshinhan's scar in the Cell saga, and to remember how long ago he got it.

Ah-ha! That's where it came from -_-. Laughable, because I have the entire manga series on my shelf. I wonder if Watsuki made that thing up himself, or was it already an old folk's tale that has been present for a long time.

Yeah. Tenshinhan's scar was a nice touch. I think the only reason Yamcha had scars was to differentiate himself more from Goku since they are wearing the same uniform, have the same body structure and the same face (as does every other DBZ character). Only way you can differentiate DBZ characters are scars, hair, and attire anyway. Yamcha started out having different eyes (smaller) than the others, but eventually that went away. And anyone notice that all of Gohan's haircuts (except for the Namek one) came from Yamcha?

Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing to see. I mean, I remember when Janet Jackson's boob popped out on stage and the ENTIRE UNITED STATES was in shock and panic.

...

I turn on tv and I can see half naked people on a sitcom.

My parents were reading about the US's reaction and were just...saddened by how backwards the sexual attitudes are.

What's even sadder is that we're discussing a show for children that has murderers, stabbings, kids being beaten half to death, and the genocide of the entire human race, yet it's the nudity that people want to "protect" young viewers from.

I live in America and I am in High School, and a few weeks ago we were watching Beowulf after reading the novel. Whenever there was slight "nudity" the teacher turned the TV off...

After seeing all the gore and arm-ripping and heart ripping, the teacher was worried about Beowulf's butt and Jolie's nipple-less breasts...

I think the only reason Yamcha had scars was to differentiate himself more from Goku
Actually, it was to seperate him from another of Toriyama's characters in another manga. They looked exactly the same, pre-scars.

Also, Yamcha looks more like Gohan than Goku~

My sister actually mistook him for Gohan at one point.

If this (probably?) MysticGohan figure in the little one-inch pack I bought from the faregrounds back in 2000 faces the other way, it could be Yamcha! Ur... unless it already is Yamcha and no one's seeing the scars...

Yeah, despite Southpark already putting it into perspective... Metalwario's post has made me feel bitter and confused toward social atitudes (well, more than already... XD I think PS would suggest that such was already there. *no explanations for what that is will be posted here* ).

... and... Viz castrating Gohan after his Oozaru transformation instead of just covering the whole thing somehow? I consider that even more dishonest than just obscuring his entire body, personally...

VIZ didn't edit that in DragonBall, did they? I've been seeing that with VIZ manga lately. When they start, they are very minimal in editing, if they even do it. They swear and have nudity and everything. Then, as they get farther into the series, they edit more and more.

In the first 16 volumes of Dragonball there are barely any edits, but then again I'm merely referring to the volumes that I purchased when they were first released. It's possible that they have done reprints with additional edits.

I always thought Yamcha looked like Goku. When I first started watching, which was during the Cell saga, before I knew his name, I would call him The Short Haired Guy with The Scar Who Looks Like Goku.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

You can see Vegeta's tail stub most of the time when neked, it looks like he's taking a poo, only its stuck.
Like when Goku's tail was growing back in GT, pulling it out with a giant pair of pliers just cracked me up.
