Uhhh... Tenshinhan's full dub name has been "Tien Shinhan" since the very first season of the dub. Bulma said it out loud while looking at a photo of everyone during the Nappa fight. This is nothing new ^^.

But that was the only time they said it, wasn't it? And it seemed a bit weird, to me. If they'd used it at least ONE other time over the course of the series, then yeah, I'd agree that it was always considered to be his full dub name.

The way is comes across though is that someone got the notes muddled, or something.

They always called him Tien Shinhan on Dragon Ball. They just didn't call him that on DBZ that much. It was nice to see him and Yamcha in a movie again. Too bad Yamcha was being a slacker or he would have won.

Nah, my money goes towards trunks. But I understand what you're saying.

At least he helped tien up though. Lol. (I'm still waiting for my DVD to arrive in the mail. I have a good fansub of it on VHS tape though)

I got my copy at Wal-Mart :)

I find it amusing Wal-Mart keeps a full stock of Uncut DBZ dvds, yet all their Yu Yu Hakusho dvds are edited!

Then they got like the whole Rurouni Kenshin TV series on dvd for 12 bucks a pop! God damn! I feel like a IDIOT for buying half of the series (up to end of Kyoto Arc) on VHS for 24 bucks each! Although that was 3 years ago before I got a dvd player...

Its a good thing I never got into buying the DBZ series outside of the movies...holy crap... :P

Blech. Suncoast charges about $25 for their DVDs. I can't justify spending $25 on 3 episodes.

Best Buy always has the latest DVD releases for the lowest prices.

But if you reserve things ahead of time at Suncoast you get $5 off, so paying $20 for three episodes and getting points for money off on future purchases isn't all that bad. Of course, maybe Best Buy is cheaper in the end.

Oh, the topic is Bojack Unbound. Uh, I know I watched it fansubbed awhile ago, and once I get back to the states in a couple of days I can pick up the copy that's been waiting for me at Suncoast  I'll also need to purchase the first GT DVD that came out a month and a half ago....

The way I see the prices, I don't complain as much. Remember 5 years ago the first 3 movies subtitled on vhs were $24.99. And just like sailorspazz said, I reserved and got it for 15 bucks not including the 5 I had to put down on it.

I find it amusing that both Rurouni Kenshin and Akira are in the children's DVD section at my Wal-Mart. I would love to see a parent buy Akira for a child that's into YuGiOh and then catch their expression durring the hospital scene where Tetsuo goes crazy. You talk about good times, man....good times. 8)

They have Akira in the kids section? I'm assuming someone put it back there after looking at the back or something. That or some idiot didn't notice the R rating on the box.

Nope. There were a bunch of them right there next to the Samurai X boxset and one Kenshin DVD.

Anyway, to stay on topic, has anyone had some problems finding Bojack Unbound? I went to Target today and only found one edited DVD. Then I went to both FYE and Best Buy only to find nothing (except The Big O Collection for 35 clams....booyah).

Cool.

They're almost done building it here. It should open up by the end of the year.

Though it's on the other side of town so it will take 15 minutes to get there.

I just got my uncut DVD of Bojack yesterday night after football practice.

It was okay. The voice acting could use some work to make it sound more mature. Like when the minion w/the sword was about to kill trunks, when he said "Fine!" that sounded really cheesy. However I did like these lines "...But you forgot one thing, I'm my father's SON!!!!" and "Actually, Bojack. There is one word that comes to mind, Kamehame....HAA!!!!!!" and one of my favorites "The name's Krillin and I DO except persenol checks!"

The music could use some work as well. It sounded like they were using the same two songs over and over again. And they didn't blast up the music for the final Gohan SSJ2 Kamehamehawave. That was disappointing to me.

The Video was kind of dissapointing as well. For a DBZ movie that is supposed to be just above TV quality, it looked like it was taken from the show. There were a couple nicks and markings that shouldn't be in a feature movie. But it wasn't too much to cry about.

Menus were good, they had a great trailer collection. (Case Closed, Tenchi Muyo GXP, Yu Yu Hakusho, DBGT Lost ep.s, Kiddy grade and some others)

The one thing that really gets me about this DVD, the two commercials at the very beggining, THAT YOU CANNOT SKIP!!!!! It made me so mad. They weren't even FUNimation commercials for Christ sake!

That's my 2 cents....[/b]

I feel your pain...those two ads at the begining, couldn't appeal to anyobody but a 5 year old with a 2-minute attention span. They weren't even anime related. If they bug you though, try using the "Title Menu" feature on your DVD player.

Speaking of Gokua's cheesy line...is it just me, or does the dub keep adding lines of "Give up" or "surrender" everytime someone throws a punch? These are fights to the death, I wish Funimation would treat them as such. :x

I think that this is one of the best that FUNimation came out with (the dub I mean).
......I still can't believe that:

#1, they kept the original Toei logo (the one with the waves).
That hasn't been seen since the Pioneer versions.

And

#2, they called H ercule "Mr. Satan", his original name.

.......All I can say is, "It's about time."
