and the whole "Earth Faries are boring maybe I should just give up drawing them completly and spend more time on the saiyans :x " thing pisses me off too.

I WANTED THE EARTH FAIRIES TO HAVE A MAJOR ROLE TOO!!! AND SAME WITH THE KIDS.
What the hell is an 'Earth fairy'?
Fine, I will explain it so it no longer seems to you as senseless jabber.

Earth Fairy is my nickname for Humans based on "Earthlings"

Actually there's a reason it seems like "senseless jabber" to him and that's because it is. -_-
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

So, wait.

The entirety of the story up to...the Cell Games or so isn't enough of a major role for the human characters?

Apparently, since it's so often a complaint. And aside from Kuririn, all the humans lose their major role after the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. Being slaughtered by the Saiyajins for a few episodes, and being dead until the end of the Freeza arc doesn't exactly count for "major role".

It was the entire impetus for the trip to Namek, then afterwards you've got Gero (used-to-be-human) and 17 and 18, augmented humans that thrash Super Saiyans.

You know quite well that "human characters" denotes Tenshinhan, Chaotzu, Yamcha, and Kuririn. And the reason they went to Namek was to wish Kami and Piccolo back to life to restore the Earth's dragon balls. Getting Chaotzu back was a later bonus.

I also know quite well that "human characters" originally included Bulma, Master Roshi, Ox-King, ChiChi, and Goku, and that Yamcha, Tien and Chaotzu used to go squarely in the 'enemies' column. :P

And Chaotzu is never a bonus. Never.

Yeah, and Goku ended up being a Saiyajin. And Bulma, who still was involved a bit with the early Namek stuff, eventually got written out to pop out another Saiyajin.

Oh, and Gyumao was an enemy too, for all of five minutes.

You gotta point there. :D
