Hey guys, I think the game's going all the way to the 21st Budokai. Does anyone else get that feeling?
I thought that was confirmed? Apparently not.

No, the japanese vocals aren't in. Makafushigi Adventure is though.

Shame Bulma's not playable, I am amused that the description they gave of what she'll be able to do makes her basically a suuped up version of Tails from Sonic 2. XD (Perform tasks that Goku can't--like shoot people, attack enemies but is unable to jump as high as Goku can, and gives the player hints).

Actually that's like more of a combination of Tails and Navi.
On hiatus.

She is kind alike a HM in the Pokemon games.

Kinda of emotional for a TV spot.. that dude certainly loves Dragonball!

This trailer features the lyrics, but it could just be a fanedit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2-f9HSUHLw

I love how they're appealing to the nostalgia for those commercials; unfortunately we won't get one like that, but even if we did, no one would understand the significance. I want a single of that song!
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I'm pretty sure that 110% of us on this board would have an even greater emotional reaction than that guy.

I hear that, this looked more like a scene from a soap opera rather then a Dragonball commercial. Not that it isn't a totally awesome commercial or anything.

I actually thought the commercial was pretty stupid, it didn't make any sense.

Yeah, I don't see how it wouldn't make sense unless you're:

1) Not familiar with the japanese version of the series.

or

2) Not familiar with Dragon Ball (Non-Z).

Anyways, I have to wonder: how would Chala-Head-Chala sound if it was sung by the same choir? :P

I have friends who aren't actual fans: casual Dragonball fan at best. They're jumping up and down for this new DS game. They are so excited for something they probably won't get until November or whenever it comes to the US. I'm sure the rest of us, on the forum, are a lot more ecstatic about the game.
