Chi-chi vs Videl

youre forgetting one major point - all of you keep talking about chichi fighting in DRAGONBALL tournaments...now how LOGN ago was that from after the cell saga? we never see her traing or fighting between that ONE tournament and a mention of sparing with goten. she had to get weaker bc she is THAT much older

videl is STILL training and is super strong than any non z fighter human.

Given who her father is, and who her husband/kids are....Chi Chi could have learned how to fly easily. I don't understand how anyone can deny Chi Chi being the strongest pure human female on Earth. Wow, Videl can FLY!!!! Big deal when Chi Chi can spar with a Super Saiyan Goten.

and minus sparing with goten chichi quit in dragonball

and she did not fight with ss goten - he turned super saiyan and she called him a monster so he never did it around her again.

have you seen them spar? its always the slow paced swing and block movements

so chichi quit training before videl was born...and videl has been training her whole life and still competed in tournaments, why didnt chichi ever fight in them after dragonball? because she would have lost.

Plus, she only entered the 23rd just to take Goku up on his promise.

And age shouldn't play that much of a factor. Its not like she's geriatric. Besides, Kame'sennin proves you shouldn't judge a fighter by their age. I'm sure he went years without any real training before taking Goku and Kuririn as his students (probably the elder Gohan was the only one who could really push him).

Watch out for grandmas and grandpas in anime. They can almost always kick your ass.

Personally I think they're pretty well matched. Both are very strong and have obvious skills.

Come on, the only "serious" fight Videl had in the manga was against Spopovich, and he was just playing with her. All her other fight were against people Chichi could have fought and won too.
Truth is Chichi trained with Goten, and she must have been some kind of a challenge for him, at least stronger than Videl, because as I said before she was awe-truck at the Goten v. Trunks fight, and the kids weren't even super saiyan.

Show me a fight where shes backing up goten in a battle and ill think about it.

EVERYONE is awes struck when they first see fights from the z fighters. are you telling me that chichi is stronger than supreme kai as well?

She was apparently doing so well Goten became a Super Saiyan in response, so...yeah.

Trunks and goten were able to go super saiyan with no effort at all.
they stated that they were just able to do it, it was chance that chichi was there for it.

And if you are seriously claiming that chichi could beat the supreme kai; then i know i win that arguement because how can any human beat one of the kais? not gonna happen, especially since we have actually seen the sumrepe kai in some sort of battling.

In Videl's defense, I really don't think Spopovich could beat her until she ran out of energy. The only real advantage he had was his stamina.

But I digress, Videl's usual company was your average human folk, while Chichi's company was the strongest of the strongest. Gohan jumping 30 feet into the air wouldn't have surprised Chichi, because shes quite able to do that herself, and is nothing compared to what she is used to. That said, jumping that high without ki assistance would lead to some serious leg strength, hence, the Turtle style's training method.

If videl had been exposed to the z fighters since she was a child she wouldnt have been shocked either; after she was there awhile it was second nature to her as well.

Ok, maybe chichi can jump high but videl was able to understand and have a concept of ki control. so videl has fleight strength and energy control; chichi only has some strength; which is why she has to walk everywhere, while videl can fly around saving the city.

Yes, but why didnt they teach her? i could easily say she wasnt able to or didnt have the drive to learn how to, but thats speculation JUST like everyone on chichi's side is saying she was even with ss goten which it says that NOWHERE.

Is anyone else on the Videl side?

ChiChi was never was really in a situation that required a lethal blow like that. I believe she could if necessary (and the opponent wasn't too overpowering).
