Probably because most people wanted Dragon Ball but got Dragon Ball: Evolution instead. So even though they hate the movie/Don't plan on seeing it/Are totally apathetic to it, they still have every right to voice their opinion on it. Or something like that.
I never said they didn't have that right. People can love or hate the movie all they like, I couldn't care less either way. I didn't even mention anything about peoples opinions on the movie (so I don't even know what you were getting at with your post

). What I was talking about was peoples attitude toward JAPPO every time he posts new info.

I was mostly being sarcastic. I don't understand why people who don't plan on seeing a movie/Aren't impressed by it/Hate it and see it as being a bastardization of the original series, can continue to follow it...but I'm NOT implying/saying people shouldn't/can't voice their opinions on it. THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M SAYING.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

Okay, that's my bad then. I still have a bit of trouble picking up E-Sarcasm

You should use Firefox. It has a built in sarcasm detector.

I remember someone saying that Master Roshi's line to Goku ("You are the only one who can do it"), was actually edited to be that for the trailer and that in the actual movie, he's actually saying "I'M the only who can do it" (in reference to sealing Piccolo away with the Mafuba/Evil Containment Wave) and he's talking to Yamcha. I watched the trailer again and noticed a slight, I dunno, it sounded like an audio/edit cut when Roshi delivered that line (I didn't noticed that the first gazillion times I saw the trailer). So who knows what we'll truly be presented with when the film comes out?
Yeah it sounds, um, odd. Also you can tell he is clearly not talking to Goku/Justin Chatwin in that scene.
EDIT: Alright, you can't clearly tell it's not him, but it could be anyone from that shot.

I thought he was talking to that guy from Ghostbusters in that scene? (Ernie Hudson?).

I never got this either. Sure JAPPO likes the movie, but it's not like he's the one making these changes. Don't shoot the messenger.

People are just criticizing him for defending the movie.

I might be able to get a screen shot up, but it does appear to be Ernie Hudson, as you can sort of tell he is wearing one of those red monk outfit things.

And this is why we shouldn't use swears to increase the power of our words.
I can't really tell what's happening in the trailer.

Bleh, how annoying that new info always comes out whenever I just arrived at school... I guess I'll be seeing it and taking screencaps tonight.

I noticed the differences immediately, the timing of shots, some of the strange framing was done away with (the Goku and Gohan stuff), the special effects, the Dragonballs themselves, a few new pieces of footage and some re-recorded lines ("We go together) and a few other things I can't be bothered mentioning.
But I thought the original trailer was awful, so in my opinion this one despite the changes is just as bad, it's like they got the kid that fixes the copy machine at the office, handed him a "Generic trailers for Hollywood movies 101" book and just told him to come up with something in a few days, it's a paint by numbers trailer at best and I found it completely and utterly uncompelling, also it probably doesn't help that the movie itself looks horrible.

To further comment on this trailer, I really don't get the whole (cliche) "the battle for
our world" line given to this trailer's 'narrator'. So is this "adaptation" supposed to take place on "our Earth" as opposed to an alternate one? I'm not trying to be nit-picky, just saying that this baffles me in the context of a story about "DragonBall". But then, everything about this film pretty much baffles me, so I guess separate choices from it for how to present the trailer shouldn't either. Also, does anyone else notice the confusion in that exchange between Goku and Bulma?
"
Let's go."
"We go,
but we go
together."
Why is he emphasizing they go together if she just insisted upon that same thing? Perhaps something was lost in the intended context of that conversation in abridging it to trailer form, really don't know. Also, interesting addition; Roshi blinks about twice more after "You're the only one who can do it". Yep, like I said, interesting.
Good points also, Cap'n Awesome.

I was wondering the same thing too. That 'review' mentioned them going to Tibet, so I thought the story might take place in our world.
I bet it will end up like it is in the actual series: supposed to be the Dragon World but littered with errors that make it look like Earth.

It's probably all chalked up to those damn trailer making guys again. Especially the cliche narrator.
Does anyone else hate how trailers are always like this?
Narrator says something
Character says something irrelevant
Narrator says something else
More character talking
Narrator continues blabbing about something
Etc etc
Edit: Oh, oh! But then halfway through the narrator says something EPIC, and the fast paced music starts up and lots of action scenes flash across the screen in a row until something even MORE epic happens just as the music dramatically ends.
Then the screen goes blank for a second, then it shows the characters and someone makes a joke.
And then it's like BA-DUM!!! And the title is all there and shiny. Then the music goes all quiet as it shows the release date.

I didn't even notice that they both said practically the same thing to each other.
That's so..."redundantly redundant" of Chatku.
I wonder if the guys who edit these movie trailers occasionally get bored and edit certain lines together under the radar purely for their own amusement. (I imagine the editing room gets rather dull after a while.)
Because that second phrase can't possibly follow the first one in the actual script....can it?
I have this awful feeling that Chung might be a worse Chi-Chi than Chatwin will be a Goku. That "Who are you?" sounds SOOOOOO wooden and forced. >_O
Why couldn't they have redubbed that line for the trailer?
