I'm sorry for taking long time to release the next one.
I am now editing M11XX (Movie 4).

Since there is a music that is cut halfway in the movie4, I can't complete it.
Could someone help me complete the music with FUNi's 5.1ch sound?
The music is M1122, the BGM used in the scene Piccolo lends Goku his power.

I only have Funi's remastered season 1 and both GT's season sets, otherwise I would help you. I think it would be best if you either complete it by riping silent parts from your Dragon Box, because the BGM's you are ripping are in mono (Toei's laserdisc are dialogue and sound effects on one channel and BGM on the other channel), or to completely make it in stereo with someone's help whoever has the season sets. I say that because there is going to be a huge change after the 33 seconds of mono in the BGM. It's going to go from mono to stereo, and I think you want to do it only either mono or stereo.

Could you guys upload a big .rar or .zip of all the unreleased music in mp3 form at some point? I really appreciate your work.

Do you know any other place in the series that it is used?

kei17 has promised to provide them all when he is done with his videos... but I've been talking to my school's Korean foreign exchange student, and I might have him compose a request in Korean that I'll just send to ballpen4.

Ballpen4 is a very nice guy. From what I know, he says that kei17's brother (thepetsounds) were to upload movies 1-6, while he uploads 7-10, 12 and 13. Movie 8 and 10 both have CD soundtracks, but movie 8 is missing a few pieces, while movie 10 is missing one piece, which weirdly enough is the same as an unreleased piece from movie 8. After they are done they will provide mp3's for everyone, so it's just a matter of patience. Just give it tops one to one and a half month and the mp3's should be available.

Just letting everyone know: Ballpen4 has put up the next video, this time for Movie 9, which really makes me happy, because it contains the three-minute theme music that builds up to Bojack's introduction, which is used numerous times during the Boo Saga, including Majin Vegeta's flashback. This is all fantastic stuff, even if the tail end of Kuririn Vs. Piccolo sounds a little bald (no pun intended) without the funny sound effects accompanying it!
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

Awesome! Some great music here, and I love how it is also stuff that was used in the Majin Buu Arc (makes a complete collection that much easier).

Dying of anticipation for those .mp3's!! :x But at least it gives me time to organize my VGM collection first. There's just so much... :D

I don't really get it, there are almost all of the anime, which got full soundtracks, for example one of the perfect piece is Space Battleship Yamato, so why no one can release full OST. Even the Complete BGM collection don't have complete soundtrack. What I missing really much is BGM from first Dragon Ball series and melodies when the Shenron is summoned. One song I missing very badly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkO5yzkyjJo It's playing right after opening theme

Yeah, I know what you mean. Although I haven't checked to make sure, I'm pretty positive that Gundam Wing has all of its BGM available on CD, spread out over the Operation OSTs. It's just so maddening!
That whole business about the BGM Collection being "complete" was false advertising by online import stores when the CD set was first announced, and as time went on and the tracklisting was revealed, the "complete" was eventually removed from the title. I have the set, and nowhere on all the packaging does it claim to be a complete collection. I don't know if it was originally meant by Columbia Records/Toei/Kikuchi/whoever to be a perfect set (and then was later abandoned due to laziness or what have you), but I remember how pissed the fans were when this came to light, myself included. False advertising is false advertising, and how dare they get our hopes up like that. Why are DragonBall BGM fans always so badly crapped on?

I also share your yearnings for music from the original DragonBall. The Shen Long BGM you mentioned, however, is actually available on CD, if you can find a copy of the 5-disc set. Assuming we're both thinking of the same piece.
Although, the second one (Protecting The Land, as I call it) is missing from the collections. :( I want that one too.

Ah, that's great, I realy don't know that the complete collection in real isn't complete...... I thought about that song with bells during Pilaf saga, when dragon balls or dragon was mentioned, and when the dragon was summoned. Same in Dragon Ball Z, there is too a dragon theme with bell signature, in movies and tv series and is removed from OST collections.....

Only thing where I understand it, is Dragon Ball GT. Low ratings, so logically OST for GT will have low sales.

Ohhh... I know which one you mean. There's actually two or three versions of that one, but unfortunately, none of them are released. :(

Pfff. That still doesn't mean they shouldn't release an OST for it. At least Super 17/colonelsilver has done what he could to give us the next best thing.

I'm assuming that "TV sizes" means the length they would be cut down to if they were used on TV, like how all of the DB songs have a verse or two chopped out of them.
New to the forum? Just want to know when you'll hit your next posting rank? Ever wondered why some users have special titles, and what they mean? The answers to all these questions and more are waiting for you in the Kanzenshuu Member Hierarchy Guide!!

Sorry to kind of resurrect the thread, but were any of the other movies ever completed? I'm specifically looking for Movie 13.

Yeah, I've been wondering too, but didn't want to pester. After all, they're doing it for us... and I myself have been known to take huge hiatuses with my BGM document project... but I would like to know if things are still in the works.

Well, it seems like kei17 is M.I.A.. I'm currently in the works with my school's Korean foreign exchange student, and trying to get a request to ballpen4 for the .mp3's of the unreleased music written up. I'm honestly a little worried about kei17 (and this BGM project too, of course), so I'm hoping it get's finished, and if I have to (well, more like "if get to") I'll finish releasing the stuff on YouTube myself.

If anyone know Japanese, I think it would be good if you sent a message to thepetsounds (kei17's brother and fellow member of this BGM project) and first asked if kei17's OK and if either of them are still working on this project, and if he'd be interested in simply releasing the .mp3's of the missing tracks for us to through up on YouTube in the same style.
