I think that Beerus is almost a shoe in, given how prominent he is in the current show.

Other than him, The only Super Character that I am, well, super confident will appear is Hit

Beerus won't make it to this game? Bandai Namco retweeted that.

Doubtful. I feel like Arby's went too premature with this statement, or just mean they aren't there "right now."

The guy that runs the twitter account for Arby's, the second-largest quick-service fast-food restaurant chain in the U.S. that specializes in roast beef sandwiches, definitely has complete access to the roster. I'm just glad he shared all the dets (short for details) with us hardcore fans. Arby's: Power to the Players.

I wonder if they are going for more female characters then the obious one (#18), and if yes who would that be, because if you look at the "canon" female characters, there isn't much of a choice.
Super DBZ had Chichi and they added her some classic DB items, including that fan from the last filler arc, which was pretty cool. There's also Videl, but I don't think her moveset is really interesting. There's also Kale and Kaulifla, but they are way too new to the series, there isn't enough stuff yet, to make them into a proper fighting game character.
But what about Future Mai? Sure, canonically she is not very strong, but she has a lot of different weapons like guns, flash grenades, etc. that could be made into something interesting gameplay wise. They could even make her piloting one of the Pilaf-bots as a super move, etc. She could pilot other capsule vehicles, or her army could aid her in various attacks.
Oh, and there's also EoZ Pan, but I guess she has even less moves then Videl.

Videl would be most likely, given that the director likes the Saiyaman arc. Chichi might get in

Pan is a possibilty I hadn't considered

Future Mai would be very interesting though she has almost no chance of making it in.
I don't see why we should get female fighters other than 18 in a Dragon Ball game, a serie which is notoriously a sausage fest. It's only recently with Super that some new female fighters have been introduced (Caulifla, Kale and Ribrianne)

I didn't said it should happen like that, but without going too political on this, that's pretty much the trend nowdays in games to include more female characters, so this is why I suspect at least someone else other then #18.
Tho it looks like it will be Great Saiyaman 2 from what we know... Future Mai would be a lot more ballsy choice tho. (and definitely more interesting gameplay-wise)

Not Really. Future Mai has no moves other that shooting a gun.

I think having regular Mai in a mech would be more likely. And more interesting

Do we think they'll have Jiren in it as the ToP will be finished by this point.

No way, but as DLC is probable. Hit or Black/Zamasu are way more possible and even them I think will only appear as DLC

Why do you think that? I think most know there are manga/anime references in the Tenkaichi games too.

I think that a fighting game must have a diverse cast of fighters, so to me the developers should do some odd balls to add more female fighters.
Female fighters that could make the game more interesting to me are:
Towa, with a dark magic kit
GT Pan, with a super agile kit
and Arale, with a gag kit.

I also would like to see Zangya. But I think all these female fighters have a slim chance to be playable in the game.

To be honest, All the female fighters I could think of would have fairly distinct movesets

18
Videl
Chichi
Mai
Arale
Pan

I never had heard about EVO until some DB fans started talking we finally had a chance because of this game. And now we made it with an incomplete version.
Another milestone for this franchise! I'm surely happy about this.
