The Justice wrote:...With that aside I have noticed a lot of discussion on the topic of how Future Gohan will work in this game (ie: the whole missing arm thing). Everyone seems to think that the one arm Gohan is an alternate costume as we've seen the videos with him attacking with only one arm.
However, I thought that maybe his battle damage skin would have the arm missing so he would lose it in battle like in the TV special and that maybe he was fighting with one arm from the start because they could not program his character to switch off from using it and then losing it mid battle.
This was proved as false in a new video as him arm just goes limper apparently when damaged. With no proof yet of an alternate costume I got to thinking that maybe they couldn't have him with an arm missing as maybe it would mess up hit detection or other characters' animations like throws where the opponent grabs both of your arms (ie: Ginyu's suplex) So maybe they wanted him to fight with one arm only but couldn't or didn't have enough time to reanimate various moves.
Choi Bounge! Awesome!
You're right about the hit detection and certain moves and such... Gohan having one arm could mess with things there, which is why Midway chose to remove Motaro's back legs in Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Well, at the very least even then, the hit detection would still be better than X-Men: Next Dimension!

God I hate that game!
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Oh my God. A message board where people agree with me for having a well thought out idea? So much better than any other board I have been on.
Yeah I forgot about the Motoro thing. It would have messed with the new fatality system was the official reason they gave if I remember right.
I'm still happy that this Gohan will be in the game as he still looks like he will be unique to play as. I just hope they have a new explanation in the story mode for why he still has the arm. (A super kick by #18 caused nerve damage? Lame excuse I know)
And don't get me started on that X-Men game. ROUND 2! GAMBIT CAN'T MOVE FOR 10 SECONDS!
I don't like podcasts. I find them to be boring. Sue me.

Darn it The Justice, your good and have so much reason, it's easy to see that your right. But I do hope that they will try to give him his One-Arm Alternate Costume.
[quote="SSj Kaboom talking about Future Gohan in BT3"]I feel sorry for Future Gohan.

Man, Broly seems to be shitting on everyone in this game. All his moves are greatly improved and I'm glad they finally included his Movie 10 forms cuz they look awesome. Spike is doing well.
Check out this cool vid to see what I mean:

Yeah.....but if they do that it will kinda kill the near perfect acuracy of that the game carries not to mention it would look really awkward. They practically already made GT Vegeta with the Babi-Vegeta model so all they gotta do is change certain things like the outfit (the jacket) hair color, voice, fighting style and move set and of course super saiyan-jin transformations.
Well, technically speaking, SSJ4 Vegeta already is a form of Buu Saga Vegeta, even though they listed him seperately. If you look at the character select screen in BT2 it has "Vegeta (Second Form) SSJ4" so I'm figuring they only left him seperate since SSJ4 Goku was seperate. But now that they've got Kid Goku to transform to SSJ4 they'll 'attatch' Vegeta's SSJ4 form to his Buu Saga model and probably change his alt skin from a black body suit to his GT outfit.

Does anyone have a picture of that? I don't remember EXACTLY where Ginyu grabs the person.
If it's closer to the shoulders though, they might still be able to make it work. While a one-armed Gohan wouldn't have an arm there, his sleeve is still there. The sleeve is pretty long. That MIGHT work.

Yep it's under the armpits, it's Zarbon who grabs their arms directly.
Or does he grab the torso?...or is that Recoome?!

New France interview
http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/sh ... p?t=606947
Quote from the user "La Passante" he translated the interview
- In the version they have, no One-armed Gohan
- New gameplay videos this evening.
- No Goten in the tested version
- Atari-team thinks that the version that will be shown at the Micromania Game Show will be at 99%
- Same music than the japanese for the game introduction
- No mode story in the tested version
-Musics are not the original japanese : it's remix from the original.
-Replay mode confirmed, but angle view limited for technical reason.
- No Tenshin Han in the tested version (it seems that the tested version is the Leipzig Convention version)
- For the new fusions : there will be surprises, but it will be the last thing revealed...

So I guess this confirms we're not getting Japanese music, huh?

Isn't this all just stuff they've observed in the demo? There's still a chance for Japanese music options or for Future Gohan to have one arm as an unlockable alt by playing through the story mode.
It's not the final game. It's only specific content they chose to put in the demo.

It sounds like we're getting remixed versions of the Japanese music...I think they did that so they didn't have to pay rights to whomever. Basically they are knocking off the Japanese music if I read that correctly.

You seem to know your shit, dude. I don't see why anybody would bugger you for that... no wait... this IS the internet. Never mind....
Plus anybody with the first name of "The" gets bonus points in my book.
Anyway, back to the game... so... more evidence of new fusions... sounds promising, but I'm still not holding my breath until I see them myself.

Or there's a chance that he says that the Japanese version remixed it's self music

There's something waiting to be said about the intro. If we're getting the same music for the introduction, doesn't that count towards the chances of having the Japanese music? Plus, like Humpski said, it's only a demo that shows an incomplete version of the game.

Oh, well.

I might like it, I've liked the other 2 Kageyama songs from B2 and 3, so I should like this one.

This is where living in the UK means awesomeness!
For some reason we didn't have Chala Head Chala in Budokai 1, but we had all the other full vocal openings for Budokai 2 and 3, and as I understand it, the USA only had instrumentals of those openings.
So....with any luck Europe will be getting the full vocals!
Hooray!
