How do we know for a fact that ‘Beerus only lost in arm wrestling and not combat ever‘? Dod you see this in question? Did someone in Super say this is what happened? Where is your evidence?.

It's stated in both anime and manga that Beerus only lost at arm wrestling, not combat. This is Toriyama outline exclusive which can't be refuted.

You know I'm going to do something I have not done once ever since BoG's was announced. I've spoiled every single Dragon Ball related thing for the past 4 years, I think I've seen and know enough already. I'm quitting the forum and dodging every single db channel or outlet till I see the film first hand. Thats gonna be hard, I've only ever done that twice since I joined, during the recruitment arc when I got sick and tired of all the bickering and then after Super ended, and in both cases only for a month or so. I'm signing myself up for a year or more .

I was afraid that Jiren and UI power levels would make Frieza obsolete, but he still seems to be a valid threat to the team. I also like the fact that he's becoming more of an orchestrator/chessmaster rather than a bloodthirsty brute.

What will make or break this movie (for me) will be if Frieza will be utterly humiliated by Broly without having any badass moments himself. The tyrant needs to shine in the film, otherwise he'll suffer from Villain Decay, like in the old Z movies.

I like that Freeza is fighting smarter and not harder.

Whis -- in both the anime and manga -- claims that Beerus is weaker than that particular God of Destruction. Beerus objects by explaining a competition was only held via an arm wrestling match. There is no indication of hand-to-hand combat anywhere.

That is unless Beerus was attempting to save face, and an actual battle did ensue between the two, but that's just pure speculation.

Couple points.

1. Does new Broly look kinda like Goku to anyone else? I wonder if Paragus and Bardock were brothers.

2. As far as Jiren and UI go didn't a magazine have Beerus wonder of Goku was stronger than him now. That tells me UI Goku and Beerus are equals and Jiren is right under them.

3. Also the way the Top looked everytime Goku went Omen it left so of the power behind so I could say UI making him get stronger than Vegeta in blue.

So again, there is actual proof since we only have Beerus' word that it was 'just wrestling'? And just because it's in both version doesn't mean it's in the outline. Vegetto Blue. Also, one was talking about U4's god, while the other is talking about U11 by context of the anime, so isn't even really the same in both versions.

In the manga, it was U4's god who talked about being stronger and Beerus said it was just arm wrestling. Not Whis. And given Beerus' record, nothing he really says should be taken as 100% with further backing.

That Bulma is freaking adorable! Looks like Goten and Trunks are forever stuck as pre-teens though.

Those new drawings are from promo artists, so don’t worry if something looks bad. They still base these on Shintani’s designs. Bulma looks perfect! She doesn’t look extremely young, but she’s of course still very sexy.
Goten and Trunks still being kids was expected considering the movie takes place shortly after the ToP, and I’m fine with this. I am happy to see them as kids in Shintani’s style, eventually we will see them growing up I hope.
It’s great to see that they gave Trunks and Bulma some new outfits. Goten’s fine too, I always liked his chinese-like outfit!

Wow. That Goku looks like he's made of plastic (in particular, the hair) when compared to the Vegeta right next to him. Says a lot about how different approaches to shading can affect your art.

I think this is referring to Ultra Instinct, since the gods can use it, while Goku still struggles with it and Vegeta can’t do it at the moment.

Re: Broly being the strongest enemy and wielding destructive power greater than a God of Destruction’s.

Similar hype that Jiren had. It wouldn’t surprise me if Broly comes out stronger.

I mean, Goten and Trunks' height are wrong in Universe Survival saga to begin with, so... And I repeat, Jaco's explanation doesn't work/is not valid for Trunks. Trunks did not inherit that Saiyans' characteristic.

Yes they did, then why present Trunks doesn't age the same as future Trunks? They have the same biological features, he is the son of the same parents, so it does not make sense this huge difference.
