Anyone suggesting it is Piccolo is also assuming that episode 118 is about the Namekians and that the bugs decide to attack Piccolo and Gohan.

I think episode 118 is Unuverse 2 so that is why I think episodr 119 is 18 falling.

Why would anyone assume 18 is staying longer than Piccolo anyway?

If a spoiler reveals it is Piccolo then I won't even watch the episode ir the rest if the arc anymore and just read a summary of each episode as I will never accept that Toriyama and Toei decided to treat Krillin, Roshi and 18 way better than Piccolo in an arc like this one. It is sending me crazy just thinking about it.

I think episode 118 is about U2 because most of Brianne fight have lasted more than 1 episode.

Episode 102/103: Brianne was fighting Vegeta and 17.

Episodes 107-109: She was fighting Goku.

Episodes 109-111: She was fighting Vegeta.

Zirloin: He was fightning papparoni, who is fodder.

They are so getting trashed in episode 117, and by the end of that episode Brianne and Rosie will be the last survivors.

I think the same and the title of episode 118 is just annoying. We will find out in the Weekly Shonen Jump leak that happens 10 days before the episode airs. That means on the 23rd November we will know.

I think that with the exception of BOG where she charged at Beerus together with Piccolo and Tien, she has never once fought alongside them. She is in a way as much of a novelty as 17 is. Sometimes that counts more than being around longer.
Also, I know Piccolo scored well in polls, but those were are also more then ten years ago.

I hope Piccolo goes down, nothing against the green man, but 18 has little to no fights in this series compared to him. So I hope she stays a little longer.

Toriyama has only had Piccolo sacrifice himself once so I don't see why he would do it again unless Toyotaro gave him a 'suggestion' and he said yes.

A better and more thrilling idea to hype U4's bugs would be to loss a heavy hitter like Vegeta or Gohan, but the title seems to point clearly towards Piccolo,which further reinforces the idea that 118 would be about his fight alongside Gohan against the namekians. Toei has shown they are stuck with the "Piccolo sacrifices himself for Gohan" trite dynamic.
Hopefully he will have the chance to look good in his last two episodes, but considering his record in Super I'm not holding my breath. At least he won't be the worst performer of the tournament, thanks to Tenshinhan.

Piccolo will eliminate 1 Namekian imo, which would make his performance as good as Tien(2 eliminations and 0 assists)...
