Really quick question, but what are people calling Kale's new form that she got in Ep. 114?

I have seen "True Legendary Super Saiyan" and it makes no sense to me.

I kind of like "Super Saiyan Berserker Full Power". It seems more accurate.

Nah, Berserker sounds dumb to me. I'll stick with "Fully powered Legendary Super Saiyan".

Kale (Super Saiyan Berserker (Controlled)) until a final name is revealed. Also seems like a Super Saiyan 2 form, considering the electricity. But I digress

True, Berserker can sound dumb, but it is the accurate make for this form. The new Ep. 114 form does seem the Full Power of Berserker.

I thought of Super Saiyan Berserker Controlled, but that could describe the other Super Saiyan form she has. I called the Super Saiyan form she gets with Kahseral "Super Saiyan Green." It could describe any one of Kale's three forms.

It's become a meme, with nearly every old school Z movie Piccolo makes an entrance to the fight after saving Gohan. Piccolo saving him yet again and that being the reason he's out of this tournament would serve no real purpose for either character. When we saw it in RoF it wasn't a powerful scene compared to the one in the Saiyan Saga for obvious reasons.

No other character gets treated like that. Being attached to another character no matter what is infuriating.

18 will be next though.
The people at Toei are just simply bad writers who have no understanding of the characters they write for.

18 is most definitely next.
So everyone who worked at Toei are simply bad writers, even the freelancers and highly respectable writers who worked on other anime?
That is my opinion and I have seen nothing from the episodes that says most are not bad writers. To me many of them lack any creativity as evidenced from all the throwbacks they do.

Such 'throwbacks' would be in the hands of the producers and directors. Not the writers who just put everything together. And it comes off a petty to call a writer 'bad' because they don't do what you like, especially over stuff they have no real control of.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I don't like most of the things they do simple as that. Not liking something and being bad do crossover quite a lot just like if it is done good then you will like it.

The production team obviously has only 2 roles and they are to make Goku look good and make any new or returning characters look good to sell merchandise.

Interesting that Ikari Trunks has been referred to as SS2 here. This is the first official DBS related thing referring to Trunks form since Ikari came from Heroes.

In Gt 18 was usefull and did not die so by default she was treated better, heck her little fight in which she kicked 17 was still more fighting than Piccolo did in that saga as well.In rof Piccolo got the GT treatment again,so yeah 18 got it better than him in that saga as well despite not even fighting.
So far in the Top,18 has been treated way better than Piccolo.
Not really, if he didn't taught the kids how to fuse proper, Super Boo would just destroy the planet quickly before Gohan could even come to fight him. Not that Piccolo was essential to Gohan's defeat, but the latter acknowledges that he used Piccolo intelligence to outsmart him, thus winning with ease.
After the Super 17 arc, Piccolo stayed in hell with all the old villains and said he would be enough to hold them, implied he got pretty strong too.
How 18 got a better treatment in RoF arc? Piccolo died but at least he was there to fight, if wasn't for Whis, 18 would remain dead too.
And in ToP I agree, but in the arc overall he had good moments too.
Point is Gotenks ended up amounting to nothing in the end,so Piccolo's effort that was wasted up on him ended up the same.
I am sure you know it does not take much to outsmart Gohan,Super Buu was already smarter than Gohan already.
He was 1 shotted by Baby Gohan, did not even throw a punch or kick and then killed for an out of nowhere reason but he is implied he got strong and thats good somehow?
He was there only to get his second dose of GT treatment so by default it would be better for him if he was not even there, thats like saying Yamcha got treated well in the saiyan saga because at the least he was there to fight, not using a character is better than using it badly.
Also everybody would be dead if not for Whis so that does not mean anything.

Writers are the executioners of any idea the director or producer gives them. Thats how it works.

It was! Hope to see him return soon! I imagine freelancers are more expensive than regulars, so they'd probably save him for big episodes. Either way, I hope the response in Japan was as as positive as it was over here to signal, that yes, we miss this style! :)

I'm checking the episodes titles again, and It could really be U2 biting the dust.

Episode 98 title was: "Oh, Uncertainty! A Universe Despairs!!" which was Universe 9 being defeated at the hands of Goku and Vegeta

Episode 118 is Accelerating Drama: A Universe Disappears...!, with previous episode 117 being all of the remaining of U2 vs the Androids...not looking good for U2.

The wording in both seems like a group of people will go down instead of just 2 like with Universe 10 which would fit Universe 2.

Yeah, and it hope its becomes 100% real, it would mean 18 will be the one taken out by Damon and not Piccolo.

And besides, all of Brianne fights have lasted longer than 1 episode. I could see Toei building her up as a sympathetic character so when she gets erased, we feel bad for her.

Yes. Hiring freelancers or outsourcing entire episode to external studios costs more money that it does to animate an episode with in-house staff.

At this rate I guess Goku vs. Jiren rematch will be somewhere between episodes 125-130
So basically

-UI vs opponent
-Tired
-Get punched in the face a bunch
-Stamina coming back
-UI vs another opponent
-Tired.

I really hope we don't have that as the cycle for the next while.
It doesn't even makes sense that fighting MORE helps him regain stamina. What would have made more sense is if while Goku rested, the others would protect him until he felt up to fighting again, but nope. We can't go a single episode without Goku in modern Dragon Ball. Maybe Gohan fighting the universe 6 saiyan girls instead? Nope Goku.

By the way what the fuck has Frieza even been doing? He was just standing there throwing around death beams without any rhyme nor reason. Ain't that a waste of ki and also it should make him a clear target to get whalloped?

I never thought I would say this but the tingly saiyans should get tortured by freeza or at least oneshotted by jiren.I thought this was going to be a multiversal tournament.
Why power levels are important?

TBH, I think they're taking routes more common in shows like One Piece and Yuyu Hakusho, where the protagonist is able to improve while fighting, despite suffering serious injuries and running low on stamina.

Apparaently Goku has go appear in every episode or Toei will go bankrupt or something like that.

It is not the fact he is tired which is the most annoying thing but the fact that he gets 4 episodes in a row is.
