Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I just dont see UI Goku vs Kafla lasting the entire episode 116 episode, it doesnt make sense, at most I expect the fight to drag before hitting commercial break, then in the last 10 mins you can insert Freeza going for the girls(in case they get to dodge Goku kamehameha via defusion), Toppo vs Vegeta, Saonel/Pirina vs Piccolo, Jiren waking up, U2 going for Goku only to be rescued by the Androids.

Nah, this episode is just one of the baddies, in the animation department.SansrivaaL wrote:Takahashi's work has set the bar too high... now I'm kinda disappointed with the episodes we'll be getting without him involved.

The animation itself was fine. It wasn't one of the 'baddies'.Yomi wrote:Nah, this episode is just one of the baddies, in the animation department.SansrivaaL wrote:Takahashi's work has set the bar too high... now I'm kinda disappointed with the episodes we'll be getting without him involved.

I'm happy 115 is considered among the "bad ones" just for a few shots by Kitano. This goes to show just how good Super has gotten.HeroR wrote:The animation itself was fine. I'm very hyped for the next non-tournament arc because we will probably get some incredible animation more consistently if they won't have to do action cuts every single episode.

So what's going to come of Kefla? Is she going to defuse, or is she going to go fight Jiren?
I'm betting that she get's ringed out.

My actual point was that animation isn't art. The art last week was great. The animation last week was only okay. The art this week was okay along with the animation. It was very middle of the road.emperior wrote:I'm happy 115 is considered among the "bad ones" just for a few shots by Kitano. So I’m realizing we’re still close to a Dragonball fuse fest now that we know anyone can throw their potara earrings into the ring at anytime...
It looks like we avoided the one, but still plenty of opportunities for it.

Kalefla is done, thats 100% fact, Freeza will make sure she gets ringed out in case Goku fails to finish her off.Daimo-Rukiri wrote:So what's going to come of Kefla? Is she going to defuse, or is she going to go fight Jiren?

Jiren will be going for Vegeta once he overwhelms Toppo.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I think they used that scene with the gods discussing the potaras to do away with the expectation of a fusion fest. What's funny is how the summary made it seem like they were all now eager to use fusion as well and were formulating plans and such, and then in the actual episode most were "Yeah, nope, don't need'em".TheMikado wrote:So I’m realizing we’re still close to a Dragonball fuse fest now that we know anyone can throw their potara earrings into the ring at anytime...

Yeah and then Jiren will one shot Vegeta with ease and send him to the benches to cheer for Goku.perucho1990 wrote:Kalefla is done, thats 100% fact, Freeza will make sure she gets ringed out in case Goku fails to finish her off.Daimo-Rukiri wrote:So what's going to come of Kefla? Gotta see the results of Vegetas ROSAT training first, maybe he got to become at least as strong as Hit.
Besides it seems that 18 will be eliminated before Piccolo(the way it should be).

Vegeta will beat Toppo and then lose to Jiren. Vegeta will not be anywhere near Goku.perucho1990 wrote:Gotta see the results of Vegetas ROSAT training first, maybe he got to become at least as strong as Hit.

18 will go and then 17. I think there big fight is the Bugs.
I think Piccolo and Gohan will fight Universe 3.

Yeah, i think this too. She had a lot of attention but now i think that it's time to go on.Daimo-Rukiri wrote:So what's going to come of Kefla? Is she going to defuse, or is she going to go fight Jiren?

I don't know, if Kefla is knocked out than the two Nameks are the only U6 fighters left, and they'll probably be defeated by Gohan/Piccolo not too long after.
Are they really going to erase Universe 6 this early? I always figured U6 would have fighters remaining till the very end. Since Hit is gone, I can't not see either Caulifa or Kale making it to the final 10 fighters.

If Saonel and Pilina do end up being the last Universe 6 fighters then there might be a reason for it.precita wrote:I don't know, if Kefla is knocked out than the two Nameks are the only U6 fighters left, and they'll probably be defeated by Gohan/Piccolo not too long after.

They're not going to merge with Piccolo, if that's what you're impliying. Between them, probably, speciallly if they're the only hope for their universe, since it's obvious that Gohan is in a different league.namekiansaiyan wrote: If Saonel and Pilina do end up being the last Universe 6 fighters then there might be a reason for it.

I think there will be no Namekian fusion between any of them. It can be anything.Majin Jator wrote:They're not going to merge with Piccolo, if that's what you're impliying. Gohan's out of their league? Is that because he has his Ultimate form? What is the point of this fight dragging out then? Have you forgot that power does not mean everything and that it only takes 1 hit to lose?
You are basically saying it is pointless and Gohan is just messing around. Every fight is pointless apart from Goku vs Jiren as we know Jiren could get up and destroy everyone quickly.

Not pointless, but he clearly has the edge on the fight. I thought you were talking about namekians fusion, and I say why a merging between Pilina & Saonel could be believable (unlike any U6 namekian with Piccolo).namekiansaiyan wrote:I think there will be no Namekian fusion between any of them. The fight has 1 thing going for it and that is it is currently the longest fight in the whole tournament.Majin Jator wrote:Not pointless, but he clearly has the edge on the fight. Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Right which is why it makes no sense. It’s a move that’s clearly allowed, grants power multipliers by tens and is temporary and reusable. It’s not like this is a casual friendly tournament, their entire survival depends on this. For them to say “ nah I’m cool” makes no sense.Michsi wrote:I think they used that scene with the gods discussing the potaras to do away with the expectation of a fusion fest.
